Don’t get me wrong, some of thee old series animation is a bit goofy but I don’t think we need a reboot. Although I would like a sequel that could actually live up to the original. Risky, certainly, but not untenable. Admittedly, we've been spoiled of late -- Yamato 2199, The Origin, and Die Neue These, for example -- but I suppose there are plenty of ways they could completely screw up a Macross remake (like, say, going with a radically different character designer)...
