How are the paint apps on your figures.  One of the Filipino reviewers was bitching and moaning about every set he found had bad paint apps but nobody else has mentioned it.  I’m wondering if this three pack is so anticipated either nobody is giving it much harsh criticism or because it was so anticipated by the one guy he’s being far too harsh?  For three of the most popular X-Men none of the reviewers seem to really know anything about them either.

Paint applications aren't bad.  The yellow on jeans Mid section appears a little thin.  I can't tell if it's just a minimal coat of paint or they used a wash technique.  Other than that no real complaints.  The eyes and hair don't have any paint slop.

I’m extremely happy with how the three figures turned out.  I don’t have any paint app problems at all.  And they look so much better alongside Jubilee, etc.  But it’s obvious Rogue, Forge and Bishop are all the wrong orang-ish color still.

Likely we'll also get Sabertooth to go with Wild Child.  People are speculating the BAF will be Apocalypse but it could easily be Sugar Man or Holocaust instead.  I wonder how far down the AoA rabbit-hole they're going to go?

AOA Rogue or Magneto would be cool, but I don't want to see Rogue on the current female buck.  We will likely get Sabretooth.

I was pretty underwhelmed by most of the new offerings.  I will pick up Doom and Croossbones outside of the X-men.

I've been asking for 275 for years now.  Outside of Wolverine (and Forge and Banshee but they don't count because that's their only costume) no manufacturer has ever made any of the other characters from that book in those costumes.  If I had the time I'd go to a con and ask Dwight and Co about stuff like that.  The regulars never ask about things like that although I've brought it up on their channels many times when they've asked for questions before going to the cons.

I'm glad to be in the minority on this one, but I am buying every single Age of Apocalypse figure which they produce. And I really only ever cherry pick these!

You're a minority about buying AoA stuff?  Realistically any person who read X-Men in the mid 90's who still collects figures will likely be gobbling them up.  I know I will be.  I still have all of those old issues bagged up.  My concern is they aren't going to do all of the teams and will only Cherry Pick specific characters.

I just realized what would be perfect, if they make an AoA Storm she'll have the cropped short hair.  That same head sculpt with the shorter hair could be reused to make the Storm figure from Uncanny 275-277 as well.

Grey Hulk should be arriving today.

Yeah, man. Sure feels that way looking at some of the Facebook collecting groups of which I am a member. Quite a bit of the the feedback I have read on there indicates that people aren't thrilled with this wave. Hopefully that'll just make it easier to hunt down. (It'd be fantastic if Best Buy carries this wave.)

I technically still have a Facebook account but don’t remember the password anymore.  What, and how many, people are bitching about it?  I wonder what the age of the people whining about it are too?  I know Robo admitted he wasn’t thrilled but he was out of the comics game by that point but he was still interested and usually gives things a chance anyway.  They didn’t pick the best characters for the wave, that’s for sure.  Rogue would have likely been more popular.  Wild child but no Sabertooth is odd.  Morph doesn’t need to be made regardless of which universe he’s from.  And the Wolverine head sculpt is crap.  But having the Weapon X team right off the bat is nice to have.

I wonder if they’ll be more kind to Jean and give us an X-Factor version sometime too?

Looks good!  I may have to pick this set up.

Just fyi, it does not come with Guardian or Sasquatch.  Sasquatch was a BAF from another wave and Guardian was a standard release from earlier this year.  The box set has the other six figs only, Northstar, Aurora, Puck, Shaman, Snowbird and Fem-Guardian (I don’t remember her name.)

Thanks.  I need to find some animals for Snowbird.  I’m glad I kept all of my Marvel Universe figures.  Now I have a Puck and a mini Puck.  Too bad they never finished all of the teams in 1/18 scale though.

Have you guys been following all of the craziness going on at YouTube regarding the new FTC and Copa guide lines for toy reviews?

Yes.

I've been looking into this more, it's not just toy reviews.  It's ANYTHING that could be considered interesting to a child.  Video Games, Comic books, etc...  Get ready to follow everybody on Vimeo, BitChute and PornHub.
