They probably will , you can wait til they post the deadline for the 2nd batch before your final decision.   I actually preorder a bit more than originally plan due to using 2 proxy just in case one of them fail .   So I’m all set for the whole family and cousins

I guess enough for Skull Squadron would be OK. Do we know if they will ever release the TV version set?

With regards to the gunpods and UN spacy:

I've been staring at these for the past 5 minutes (HMR, v2 1/60, 1/48 DX), and as far as I can tell it is three different approaches.

1.  HMR: In fighter mode it is always upside-down from both sides.  When held in the hand (gerwalk, battroid) it will be correct and readable left to right on both sides.

2. DX 1/48: This will always be right-side-up and readable left-to-right when in fighter mode and attached underneath.  This applies to both sides in fighter mode.  It will always be upside/backwards when held in the hand in gerwalk/fighter, regardless of which side you are looking at.

3. v2 1/60: They split the difference between the first two.  One side is correct in fighter mode, one side is correct when held in the hand.

What is anime accurate?  I have no idea.  The 1/60 approach makes the most sense to me.

No info on that but if they continue to release tv valks , then I’m sure they will do a TV set , maybe even include missiles.

unless they just want to release them as combo sets like vf-1j M and M .

Transformed the VF-1A TV Max to Battroid mode for the first time.  Very smooth and quick transformation.  As a fan of the HMR VF-1, to me the DX is like an oversized HMR with all of the details and features not possible for the HMR because of its size.  I love both the DX and HMR VF-1.  I just wish this had more TV hands.

Yes, those shoulders sliding is the same as the HMR improvement over the Yammie design.  The rest of the transformation is largely the same as the v2 yammies for both the DX and the HMR.  Except the swing bar separator.  and the improvement on the hips rotation, and the sideways thighs swivel.

My Max showed up from NY a few days ago. No damage to the box, no shoulder hinge issues. That blue is impressive in person. I've been waiting six months to do this. Still tweaking the pose, but it's about as close as you can get with a DX.

Completed fighter pics, finally.

Added missing details like the ejection seat warning.

Spotlight hangar. ^_^

Wow very nice effects Lolicon! What are the steps you used for this? Just panel lining or do you weather it a bit too?

That’s one of the poses I’ll be doing for sure.

Just remember to place the camera bellow the waist line. Most shots in the animation were from "street" level to convey the sensation of size.

Yep if it’s one thing that @vlenhoff has taught me is to place the camera low to match the shots.  :good:

I remember when we were doing this "scene" recreations. Then i got busy, and completely lost track of it. I am sorry :(

Maybe we can revisit this thing we were doing back then. All i can say, it is thanks for being patient with me :D

It was fun...but the problem was, and probably continues to be, that there are not enough photoshop gurus with free time and waaaay too many guys with cool toys and the available time to pose them! :drinks:

If you have the time @vlenhoff it would be great to see you create some more photoshop magic again! :clapping:

It would be so easy to do a little photoshop here and convince people Roy was coming....

Those strike parts look angled up pretty high.

They're not snapped down onto the mounts all the way, so I wouldn't worry.  Typical BDF (Bandai Display Fail). :p

Yeah it was fun. Back then i sold my place, moved. You can imagine what it feels to dust and pack-up years of Macross, StarWars, and Transformers goodness. That and we got super busy at work, so time was scarce.

Thanks for the compliment! I'll give it another shot, but please be patient with me! We all have so much to do, and sometimes we have little time for our hobbies. :cray:

Great pics All! This looks be the latest challenge.

To all VF-1A Max owners like myself, was I the only one to be disappointed to see DYRL hands in a TV version release.

Bandai missed on making a full and better set for TV Valkyrie owners.

Although the area on the gunpod is too small, I wish the VF-1A TV Max and VF-1J Hikaru had at least one TV hand where the index finger can go over the trigger.
