Some of the stash..

There’s a YF-25 (Bandai) hiding behind the Retppu VF-4 And a Queedluun Rau also hiding behind the hobby expo VF-4.

JasonC’s drone’s are the orange pieces in plastic (got 2 of those) and, of course, Xigfrid Ghost’s are Frontier and center.

Not pictured here are a Moscato 1/72 Glaug and a 1/48 resin Launch arm(from Mslz22 )for the 1/48 VF-1. They’re both in zip lock bags and not very photogenic..

Second layer from the first bin..shapeways anti-vajra mussels, high maneuver missiles , YF-19 arm cannon.. oh shoot! Ignore that HMR in the corner !

So, you have three completely different 1:72 VF-4 Valkyrie fighter mode resin garage kits?

Pretty sure one of those is vinyl actually, and the one in the blue box was partially copied from the Retppu one.

I have at least one more of the Hobby Expo’s. Had a thing for Lightning’s. I would like to do an SvF Enigma squadron of these some day.

Thank you to everyone who has posted and kept this thread alive.  I've been enjoying looking through the pictures, and there are some awesome collections!  I think we've only scratched the surface, let's see more built and pending from Macross model kit fans. :yahoo:

007-vf1: You have some very nice looking valkyries in your display cabinet.

R2KF, Joscasle, Kkx, Jvmacross and Bolt: Your collections are really cool.  :good:

Very true, and I have your generosity to thank for that.  I'm honored to add your awesome kits to my collection, and I appreciate you making them available.  :hi:

Chad (Grayson72) listed (184) Macross items, an impressive amount of which some are head lasers, etc.  While there is the old saying about quantity versus quality, Chad has some super rare kits that inspired me to also work on my Macross plastic/resin collection.  Shawn, Carl and Gabe Q (300 kits) all have massive collections and have been working on inventories.  I'm really excited to see what they own and thanks again to everyone who has posted in this thread.  ;)

A (24) kit Experten 1/100 variable valkyrie collection that I arranged the purchase of, as well as another auction lot will arrive soon.  My goal is to take pictures and submit a list of my personal collection as soon as possible.  Not only that, but I'm working on a comprehensive list of every Macross kit released, and I hope to publish it in some form depending upon cost.  :yahoo:

Please continue to post more pictures of your built/pending kit collection and a list whenever possible.

My Macross decal collection, more than (40) because you can never have enough. haha These are all extras, and weren't removed from inside my model kits. Some to save and the rest for use on custom projects. 1/72, 1/100 and even a few in 1/144 scale.

Would you scan some of those for the Decals Library thread?

With sunlight-resistant cannons!

Glorious.

Haha , ya. (Except I would use schedule 80 rather than 40 for all weather) When I saw the non metallic conduit I had to laugh. I work with that stuff all the time. I’ll never look at it the same way  again:lol:

No idea when I’m going to get to this baby but I hope i can start it by the end of the year.

Awesome. I've been looking for the VF-17s at a reasonable price. There's one at eBay but the price is just ridiculous

Thanks.  I need to take a group pic of all of the 1/100 Macross kits from Plastic Cretins.  @Convectuoso I’ll trade you a VF-17 for your Gigamesh.  B))

Convectuoso:  Yes, I'll ask around to see where I can find a good quality digital scanner for my decal collection.  What is the preferred/recommended optical resolution in pixels that I should look for?  (The higher the better of course.)  I only have a four in one for home use, so the scanner is primarily for documents.

Bolt: Congratulations on your 1/72 Monster, looks awesome!

sh9000: Amazing 1/100 resin kit collection, thanks for sharing, they look to be in great condition!

See here:

@tekeringrecommended 300dpi

Oh, I'd recommend much higher (600dpi is my standard, if only because of the limitations of my own printer), 'cause modern equipment has no problem processing the resulting file sizes, even uncompressed.

300dpi is merely the bare minimum.

I mean, we aren't using AOL to upload to GeoCities with dial-up modems any more.  <_<

Thank you for the information about the scans, I will work on that.  Not model kits, but these are full of them and my inspiration/resource for projects:

Very cool. I didn’t realize they were doing M2 bad guys.

Yeah when it was available I had to get one.  I needed at least one enemy mecha from Macross II.

I'll ask them about it. I would love a couple to go with the Gigamesh

I checked my email.  Looks like the M2 Battle Pod was not lost.

A pair, flying escort, would be sweet.

I would have bought more than one at the time but they were pricey at $195 each.
