Thanks! I didn't realize the MoShow version was so much bigger than the other two. The Bandai version probebly looks the most "right" but I think I'm liking the MoShow version more. what's the right price to pay for the moshow one? there's one on ebay for under 100 which seems suspiciously cheap.

You're welcome! ;)

Under $100 is cheap for this figure. Probably a KO of a 3P? GMC already run out of MoShow Qant but HobbyMission still has it for $160 shipped to US. I paid mine 180 shipped this is before I heard of GundamModelCentral and HobbyMission. And yes, out of these three, MoShow's joints are tighter.

You should probably check the sellers feedback ,  you know the old saying

Yes sir, I did. ;)

The joints are tight. QC is not that great IMHO since there's some small gaps on some parts like e.g. Rail Guns and the Wing connectors. I tried to squeeze them but it won't close that much. I'm assuming uneven plastic on pegs and whatnot. The Dragoons is not flushed properly on the wing railings so there's some visible gaps. It's not perfect but it beats Bandai pricing so I'm all good. ;)

Thanks for the review. I'll wait for a pre-owned copy then.

Did Something happen with the third party MB stuff on Taobao? My KO VF-1S PF Hikaru got canceled again for the 5th time so I decided to get a KO Metal Build instead. The selection has dwindled on Taobao. Can't find a blue metal club Seven sword anymore. The Freedom has gone up in price. The macross stuff has seemed to dwindled too. Looks like it's become vaporware.

Metal Gear Club Seven Sword is still available at Gundam Model Center and Hobby Mission.

Ended up Ordering the Moshow 00Quant. Disappointed I missed out on the Freedom MB KO before it went up in price. Also disappointed in missing out the blue Seven sword. Looks like you can't get it anymore at Taobao.

I didn’t know there’s a KO for MB Freedom. Thought it was just the Strike Freedom.

You can get the blue 00 Seven Sword at Gundam Central for $120USD. Well worth it. There's also a 3rd party making a GN Sword Blaster for it for about $20 on ebay.

Thank you very very much for the pictures comparison. Its really give me what i need to know. I went for MoShow and Turris Babel because yup its look almost the same but 2 of that still cannot compare to the price of 1 Quanta. I'm the collectors of Hottoys, Enterbay, Prime 1 Studio and anything nice including MB and GFFMC... of course some of the "special" finishing models kit. I stop buying Bandai for now except for GFFMC Wing Gundam Zero and MB F91 Harrison Martin version because i don't think there will be any third party version at the moment base on the complicated and the sophisticated of the respective models itself. Dragon Momoko may try to produce the models kit but they are no longer around... for now. if anyone manage to do it also, the "feeling" of MB won't be there. Anyway.... nice meeting all of you and thank you again...

I think the Moshow QanT is as good as the MB figures, but the Turris Babel is pretty bad. I do like how the LEDs work on it though. Just wish they had made a better effort.

I also have the Moshow Aile Strike, and it is a fantastic figure, also as good as the MB kits, coming with a metal grand slam sword it can actually hold, and a great LED system lighting the head and thrusters of the Aile pack. Unfortunately, it's now sold out most places and is running over $600usd.

I picked up the Metal Club Strike Freedom recently, and it's fantastic. I don't have the original to compare it to, but it holds up well next to the MB Destiny. It also came with the wings of light and dragoon stands, and all for under $200.

I also have the metal club 00 Seven Sword, both the Inspection Red, and the trans-am figure that comes with the GN Blaster Sword, and the 00 w/ Riser. I don't have the original to compare to, but some people have said the tampo markings aren't as good but since they originally ran for under $100, they're well worth it.

And I also have several of the original MB figures if they were reasonably priced at the time: 2 Red Frames; one with flight pack, one with the tactical arms, the Blue Frame, I scored the Gold Frame, new, at a ridiculously low price, Freedom, Exia R3 kit, Destiny Heine custom version, and the F91. I have most of these displayed together with the knock off and they all look like they belong together. And honestly, if Bandai actually kept up with demand and priced the MB kits better, there wouldn't be a market for the knock offs in the first place.

Hi JakCrow,

Yup couldn't agreed more with you... MoShow QanT is the best better than Turris Babel but I've got no Bandai's OO Qan(T) to compare with.

But I really regret not to collect MoShow Aile Strike because the size are a bit odds when they 1st introduced but I do have the marvelous HotStudio 1/60 Metal Master Grade Destiny. As I said at the moment I've started to collect all the 3rd parties products which is fortunately can stand equally stunning without noticed next my original Bandai. Nice collection you have there. I displayed mine in the office.

Nice of you dropping by.

Hahahaha pity them...  got to change brand for each product.

There were major crackdown last year about intellectual property. These resulted to the shutdown of Dragon Momoko. After that incident, some of the third party brands changed name

Well. It's what most criminals do. Change aliases so to keep it anonymous, right? Hehehe.

If Bandai would meet demand for these figures at reasonable prices, there wouldn't be a market for bootlegs

This post is going to be a bit photo heavy. On the left is the Bandai MB Destiny Heine custom with an Orange color scheme. On the right is the new "MuscleBear" / Metal Club Destiny

From what I can tell, outside of paint jobs, both figures look and feel nearly identical. The sculpting of the figures, the metal parts, the heft of each figure, the paint details and markings, I am hard pressed to see any significant difference between the two.

The MC figure has much tighter joints than the MB. While the MB doesn't have any flopping joints, I prefer the tighter joints of the MC.

Accessories -

The weapons and shields of the MC are made of lighter, cheaper feeling plastics, but otherwise nearly identical to the MB's. There's tends to be a little more painted details on the MC's weapons, but that could also just be due to the differences between the standard and custom colors schemes.

I haven't set up the wings of light, but they look nice and are a steal they're included with the first run of the figure. One thing to remember, if you want to get the Bandai wings of light, they run over $175 on the secondary market, which is ridiculous.

20180511_224244.thumb.jpg.9102f1c9d319e089eac3628207bbd4a0.jpg

They require a number of mounting parts to connect to the Destiny's wings. I'd say the MC would hold them better since the MB's wings are a little looser.

I'd say the MC Destiny is well worth the $120 - 150USD is sells for. Excluding the cheaper materials for the weapons and shields, the figure itself could easily pass for the original Bandai figure.

very nice photo comparison.  This is definitely the Destiny to get if you missed out on the original one.  or just get it for the WOL alone if you missed out the original WOL.

Wow... I dunno this one exists... Congratulations it's really nice. I just received my Metal Gear Strike Freedom + wings of light. To compare with my Bandai original version, the only differences just the packaging only look really cheap and guilty pleasure of finding fault because knowing it's KO. Maybe rough a bit on the finishing part. But the price can get 3 MC for 1 original Bandai without the Wings of Light.

This one was just released a few days ago, it looks better in person and less flashy, hard capture ithe color correctly with my iPad,.

I own 4 BANDAI MB and 2 MC MB, have to say BANDAI has much nicer finishing, but on the other hand MC much tighter joints.
