Even this month's poll is pre-Mirage-in-her-tube-top-and-shorts episode. Mirage reminds me of Gamlin. Both were very straight personalities.

Ok here's the allegedly fresh one

Hayate and Freya lose the top spots to Kabaneri.

Kaname rockets to the #7 stop.

Noone else from Macross on there.

EDIT:

Animage shows the real triangle

I feel sorry for the team working on Keith's manga, which I guess is the only official material out there trying to make the Knights likable at the moment.

hahah, nehhh, no need to feel too sorry for the team... they're getting loads of lovin' from me :)

my Keith-sama is just misunderstood :wub::wub:

I'm gonna be in Japan again from October 14-24. I'm there for my wife to watch the next Sailor Moon musical, but I reaaaaaaallly hope that something Macross will be int he offing while I'm there. I don't suppose there's a general calendar of Walkure stuff (releases, appearances, etc.) that's available somewhere? I understand that the show will most likely be over by that point but perhaps something will still be coming out to capitalize on it...

WOW.

http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2016/07/12/macross-delta-girls-idol-unit-walkures-1st-album-sells-78000-units

According to the newest Oricon report, "Walkure Attack!," the 12-song first album of the five-member girls idol unit Walkure from the ongoing Macross Delta TV anime, sold an impressive 78,000 units in its first week, ranking second in the weekly album chart. The album was released in Japan on July 6 and made its debut at first place on the daily album chart of July 5, then has taken second spot for five consecutive days. Their first single "Ichido dake no Koi nara/Rune ga Pikatto Hikattara" (OP/ED theme song of the anime) was released on May 11, and took third place in the weekly chart selling 36,000 units.

Is that "WOW" level info?

If it's nationwide general album sales (ie not anime only), then it is wow.

Or to put it in different terms, it's in the #2 spot on the equivalent of this: http://www.billboard.com/charts/top-album-sales

And to put it into context: I'm hearing Macross songs while shopping in supermarkets and department stores (not the music section).

This better highlights the success in my opinion. Good to hear, it's hugely popular. More Valks for us.

Only 3 of the Walkure in the top 10? and Sheryl is still there and higher than Reina? Oh wow.

Poor Kaname and Makina.

Well let's face it, she was a memorable character and May'n singing for her only punctuated the deal...
