I`ve run into a dilemma...

Is the pilot supposed to have legs in the q-raus legs

or are they meant to slide in to the backpack so she almost

lies on her stomach??

Any thoughts would be appreciatedā

Looking awesome and glad to see you're making the missile hatches open! As for the pilot, the only pictures I found just show the waist opening. This one is from the Macross Mecha Manual (shameless plug for one of our members): http://www.macross2.net/m3/sdfmacross/queadluun-rau.htm%C2'> I would suspect the pilot's legs go into the mechas legs. I love the way you made that happen! - MT

Thx... Ill stick with the setup I already made....

I just noticed that in the DYRL 1/60 q-rau the pilot had her legs in the backpack...

Incidentally i had to do some calculations, and

Stumbled over something interesting...

This kit is not at scale 1/144...

Instead its around 1/119 -120

And the pilot needs to be around the same size as

A 1/20 figure...

So I'll have to make the pilot bigger -_-

For the anime it's probably correct. That show as awesome as it is had a scale system that made no sense. He regult should be able to fit pilots the height close to the vf1, but in most shots the enemy me ha would only be around waist high.

By th way I love the work here.

pretty much the same conclusion i arrived at B))

a little update...

no need to change the pilot size, she only lacks 4-5 mm...

so im not gonna do more about it...

added some details in the cockpit and more to the underside for the pilot protection..

I like the fact that the legs go in the back pack much like Yamato did it. But it doesn't really solve it when it comes to the Nousjadeul Ger. The legs still need to go in the mech legs. That's why this is interesting to see.

This is great work! I especially like how you built up the missile pods with movable hatch doors. The paint job is spot on. What green color did you use?

Thanks for the green paint color formula! The missiles in the pods were they from the kit or did you build them? They look correct with the modified missile pod.
