If they did M+ HMR, I believe it would be the YF-19 first. The YF-21 doesn’t get enough love, unfortunately ..<_<

I honestly wish that if they did decide to do Plus, they'd start with the VF-11B (another design that doesn't get enough love), followed by the YF-21, and then finally the YF-19. Never going to happen, though. The YF-19 just eclipses everything else from that series.

While I am selling off some of my larger 1/60 collection, my hopes for a Macross Zero HMR line are high (believe it or not) and eventually a Mac Plus line will show up too... VF-11's alone are a win-win. Financially the HMR line makes more sense to having multiples vs just one. B))

I like where is this going, Seti. Would be nice to have a DX YF-21 and VF-11B. ;)

But with that regard, Bandai already made a VF-4 Lightning III in HMR format, I don't mind them making a DX version of that as well. (DX is not an official 1/60 scale, so I hope there will be no problems there.) Also, I don't think they will risk the sales of the HMR VF-4 at this point. ^_^

A DX vf 4 would be awesome! On the same note, If bandai releases a DX version too soon after the vf-4 HMR it might risk the sales of the DX instead cos it seems that the HMR is a runaway success ...

i cant imagine the preorder madness for a DX vf-11. Would be even crazier than a DX  yf-21?

My VF-4 has spent more time at customs than it had traveling from Japan.  It arrived in state on the 27th of March.  It passed through customs on the 28th.  It's been showing "Origin Post is Preparing Shipment" for 8 days now.

Fixed up my HMR VF-4. She looked a bit plain out of the box.

One of my favorite fighter modes of any valkyrie.

The HMR can angle its wings down a bit for the proper look.

Very nice! Did you use a clear coat after you panel lined it?

These were the posts after the one you quoted.

Damn sweet @Lolicon the extra decals really help.  Did you use a matte overcoat or is it satin?

Satin coat. Flat coats look nice but I always end up regretting it because they scuff so much more easily and visibly.

Just got my VF-4 and I'm blown away. Solid, fun to play and pose this really is a great way to experience this Valk. Pity they didn't engineer the intake covers and trapdoors into it as that would pretty much make it a perfect transformer.

While I'm really satisfied with the toy, I have some questions:

- For the grey shoulder flaps/covers, how should they be positioned? Should the bottom panel be lined up with the top? Or should it sit at an angle? The line art looks to have them in different positions for Battroid and Gerwalk modes.

- Which are the true elbow joints? For that matter, how should the forearms be aligned? If the line art/stock photo is to be followed, the elbow joints are super limited.

I finally received my VF-4.  I have a scratch in the black area of the nose cone right in front of the cockpit.  The yellow plastic shows through.  Otherwise, no other issues.

I did have a scary moment when I was transforming it for the first time.  While I was disconnecting the legs from the body, I somehow applied too much pressure on the trap door of the little fin and it popped into the cavity.  I found no easy way to get the door back out.  I tried to push the roll pin out with a paperclip as I had no punch nor a way to hold everything steady enough to tap it out.  I ended up bending the paperclip into a hook and yanked the door back out.  There are very faint stress marks on the plastic near the area where the fin snaps in now.  I'm hoping it fades with time.

Got my VF-4 today from AmiAmi, thanks to @sh9000. Only took 10 days total via SAL. Can’t wait to set it up.

No problem.  Happy to help.

Great pics Saburo, but my question is... Is that real carbon fiber? If it isn't, i am not interested.

Has anyone attempted to weather the pilot? It seems it could use a little love.

Anyone know how to escalate/ping a ticket with NY?  I put in a change of shipping address for my VF-1D over a week ago, and they haven't done anything.  I know their customer service isn't great, but I've never had them take this long to respond to a ticket.

The VF-1D release is fast approaching, and I don't want it going to the wrong address...
