Figuarts, Robot Damashii, and Figma prices have been climbing for years now. I'm genuinely surprised it's not the 15k jpy price point the VF-2s are at. As far as the price, I agree it seems a little high, but this is an all-new, fairly complex mold which Bandai hasn’t yet had a chance to milk, like they have with the VF-1 from 2010. I think this (along with larger size and super parts) was why the VF-2SS was even more expensive. I guess the March 2019 release date mans we need to get ready to PO this in a week or two? I have the 1/60 which is beautiful in fighter mode....not too pumped for a smaller parts-former version but it’s a different paint scheme I guess.
