What kind of customs are you planning?  CF Brownie?

I’m going to leave a VF-2SS in Battroid mode and another in Fighter mode.  The two remaining will be in custom Max and Milia colors.

TV arm armor for the VF-1 is now possible.  B))

My Glaug is finally here. And since the HMRs are piling up, aside from my current pre-order I won't be buying any more unless it's a VF1D, VT-1, VF1A Max/Kakizaki or an enemy mech. I'll think really hard if it's a Destroid Phalanx. ;)

(Somehow that reads like a wishlist...)

I don't know if this is where I should post this but.... Don't order the Missle Regults from Nin-nin-game... I placed my preorder (& paid) a while back, and once it was released they never updated me on shipment. I contacted them several times because my order no longer showed up on my "order" page, and after waiting two weeks to hear a response they told me that there had been a mistake on the pricing and that I would have to pay an extra $54USD.

The most annoying part of this is the customer service. I messaged them through their online service, and Facebook, but it took them forever to respond. I told them in my second to last message to refund my money cos I didn't want to pay an extra $54 (in my head I started to think that they would  just keep giving me the runaround and ask for more and more money). A few days have passed and I still haven't received a refund.

In the end... I ended up buying the set on eBay (cheaper than nin-nin-game's price after adding the $54).  [End rant] :p

Edit: (Actually, I shouldn't say "don't buy from min-nin-game"... just giving a heads up on my negative experience)

I really want that VF-2SS.  Looks like Evilbay is the last option huh?

Hoping they'll do a Metal Siren at some point...

You can share your story in the Blacklist thread for giving headsup to anyone who’s going to buy at Nin-Nin.

I think they've already teased a Nexx version for the future.  I can't speak to the differences besides the different colored markings, but it should be pretty easy to replace the blue with red if you wanted.

Not to mention the medium rail gun mount on the leg pack. I hope Nexx will also have the regular gunpod as well beside the rail gun.

Last night the status of my Regult was that they moved them to another distribution center that would have meant a few more days of domestic travel.   Well that information must have been wrong or they decided to express mail it over night instead of moving it by truck.  A delivery was attempted today.  During the time I decided to leave the house.

I bought nine VE-1 Elintseekers.

9? No, you need 12. I think if you buy them all at the same time you get a 13th free. That's the way it works at my donut shop at least.

@jenius: That is Baker's Dozen Donuts catch phrase as well "Buy 12, get the 13th free" (or something to that nature) when I was working at the Donut chain back when I was in YYZ. I don't know if they still carry on the tradition now, however some of the donut chain stores here in Canada don't offer the 13th donut for free when you buy a dozen. Man... If you inhale 13 donuts by yourself, that's a recipe for a health disaster right there!

@amptor: Are you trying to troop build Elintseekers for your collection? If so, that it serious stuff!

Did N-Y ever have the VF-1A super for sale on pre-order?  Every time I check it says Not Available.

Yes. During the last week of November. Other online shop still has it for preorder.

How do you like the wireless LEDs?

They're awesome.  I've been putting them to all sorts of use.  ^_^

How long do those lights last and are they easily replaced?

I expect them to last as long as I need them to, but I'd advise against installing them permanently (just in case they need to be replaced).

They're sold in sets of ten for $30, so replacements are easily procured... for as long as the product remains on the market, at least.  :p

Would like to have one of those wireless LEDs thingies but the base is so expensive.

Nearly $200, yeah... but I think it'll prove its worth.

One thing for digital photographers to consider is the electromagnetic field interference generated by the base unit.  I had to keep the ISO real low to get decent pics; under automatic ISO settings, there was significant banding evident in the images:

So, try and keep your LEDs in the EM field, but your camera out of it.  B))

You can try getting a sheet of conductive glass and putting it between the base and the camera, ought to shield some of the EMI. Same deal if you wrap the camera with tinfoil except for the lens and viewfinder.

Anyone else waiting on NY to ship theirs?  Mine has been in "Preparation in progess" since 12/26.

I have a VF2 and Regult set that we’re shipped from NY before the holidays and have not arrived yet.

Good ole usps sent my package from New York to philly and back to New York. Now it’s “in transit” limbo. This may be my first package to go MIA!

Mine was Prep in Progress that date as well but made it out about 3-4 days later. I think Nippon Yasan was closed all last week for a Japanese holiday. My Regults have apparently been sitting in customs in New York for almost a week at this point.

And @tekering, those are some really cool light effects! Great job with those.
