Every time someone mentions the Dougram HMR figures it’s followed by something like “these are amazing!”

I'm very tempted by them. I have no attachment to the show, however, having the Dougram and Roundfacer, next to the Spartan and Defender, and a Glaug... the late 80s/ early 90s Battletech fan in me would love that combination. And would also go nuts waiting for a Tomahawk release that may never come.

I will always say that these releases are better than pretty much any Macross HMR release except the Monster but that thing is SOC level.

IMO the Spartan is around the same level (at 2/3 the price).  HMR did what they could with the Defender, but its just not a very versatile mech.

However, the Dougrams are about 1/60 scale whereas the Macross ones are ~1/100 scale.  Love the little guys though, resisting any army building with them.  They need to finish Dougram line.  Only around 10 to go.

Yeah, the Spartan is a really great figure. I just put the Dougram stuff above it because the bigger scale and more accesories. All great toys and I love all HMR releases but it is odd for me to prefer mostly non-transforming mecha over transforming ones in a line. It's just that they seem to put the extra effort into engineering the articulation and providing quality materials when they don't need to worry about transforming. The figures have so much personality and "life" in them.

I was looking forward to this, finally a toy worthy of Char.

Awesome! Mine's sitting in PW so I can ship it together with the Arcadia SV-51. :)

Only a slow trickle of new stuff for me lately.

Picked up 2B version 2. They really fast-tracked that one, didn't they? Was version 1 really that bad?

Picked up sitting pose Makina. I really like these sitting figures. They're a nice change of pace from the "standing on one leg" figures I usually see, and they can just sit on the shelf with my valkyries. ;) It's too bad Bandai won't give us a full Walkure lineup outside of cheap game prize figures.

Decided to massively revamp my gaming pc set up with a Samsung 49inch curved gaming monitor and a proper racing simulator seat and frame. Can't wait to get it all setup! Just waiting on the simulator rig to arrive.. hopefully today.

Also purchased the monitor stand so I can get rid of the desk entirely!

I guess I won't be buying a Valkyrie anytime soon then..

Ninja shuriken training! The kids absolutely love this! Actually, the whole fam loves it and my wife was the one who said we had to get it after seeing it at a friend’s house. I had to step it up with the ninja action though.:D

Pretty cool toy.

Are you planning the put the Armoured Parts for Alto's 171EX on Luca's RVF-171EX @Shizuka the Cat

Make sure that you save up for your actual wedding too! It's not getting cheap anymore (the last article did read about planning the wedding banquet only is close to 40k USD).

I got it for Luca's RVF-171... since, as far as I am aware, no armored parts were actually ever officially released for Luca's 171.

You are correct, and I can confirm from personal experience that the RVF-171 looks good with supers on.

It doesn't come with the right wings, but the RVF-171 itself comes with separate hardpoint wings (unlike every other -171 except the Maruyama w/ supers box).

How is that Banshee?

(Please tell me it is awful and not worth the money!)

It's well worth the money. Takes a bit to get in the full configuration mode, but I highly recommend it!

I caved in and bought the Sh Figuarts Far From Home Tech Suit because I’m a sucker for Spider-Man figures and I’m so glad I did.  This is hands-down Bandai’s best attempt at a Spider-Man figure (and so much fricking better than their other three POS’es) and it’s risen to my top three Spider-Man figures ever.  It’s a lot of fun.

The simulator shipment came in two parts which the transport company managed to send one package to another state ffs... Finally got everything yesterday and got it all built up!

Apart from a few minor build and design flaw issues which I was able to sort out easy enough, I couldn't be happier!

Man, I wish I had a setup like that, but for flight sims.

I will be making a bracket to secure the throttle to the left side of the seat frame and another bracket to hold the stick. I was told that they will be making a flight sim accessory for this rig which is coming in the next few months. I'll suss it out when they release it and see if it'll work for me. I set this one up primarily for driving as it's what I use it for most but I also fly.

Yes you certainly do! The stick is to the right of the pc and the rudder pedals are on the lower shelf.

Wow, right hand drive even

Yeah I figured I'd set it up that way as it's how we drive here in Aus and it makes room between the rig and pc table.
