It's as if sellers finally realized (after nearly 2 years) that no one is biting on their ridiculous insane prices anymore. I've been seeing a lot of v2 1/60s for under 175 (some as low as 110) and I have seen mint sv-51s sell for less than 175 as well. I was looking for a second masterpiece sound wave to display with my masterpiece deceptions. I came across a damaged lot on eBay and said what the heck. I paid 290.00 for the 6 masterpiece figures. I already had the stars team, hot rod, and tracks as well as the sound wave but I didn’t have the thrust or ramjet. Funny thing is I was ready to spend almost 300 for the ramjet and thrust on Black Friday lol It was listed as damaged and missing parts. I received the lot and I was pleasantly surprised. the thrust was only missing a gun, ramjet was perfect. Tracks was perfect. The hot rod had some chrome missing from arm cannons. ( easy fix) the coronation star scream was missing a tiny hip clip which you can’t even tell. the sound wave had a damaged foot. I’m goin to try to repair which I believe I can. He was also missing ravage tape but had a second rumble in box. He was also missing laser beaks backpacks. overall I am really happy with the lot. That is a crying shame. Seeing how important items are for the Metroid games the figmas should be a prime candidate for all kinds of repaints into other suits, different suit designs and weapon effects. I said it before I would gladly buy accessory packs with effect parts. I would love a Screw Attack effect or missiles/super missiles and bombs. Or the different Beam effects. Could you imagine how fun a Grapple Beam effect part would be that actually can be used to attach Samus to something. Missed opportunity GSC, missed opportunity.
