A few years ago I read the sentinels books, but obviously it's not canon. So I guess my question is if there is any "official" background universe of the Zentradi. Whether Zentradi-stuff from Sentinels-books is canon to Robotech is anybody's guess. But it sure isn't official canon to Macross by a long shot.
