Well....a "Focker" like a VF-1J Mass Production is aka "Commander Type".....

med_gallery_12176_608_188298.jpg

Technically, this was released as a low vis, not stealth... But it's understandable to get confused, with the color they used for this... I still don't get it though...

If Arcadia will "reissue" this (if they are going to be able to reissue any Yamatos at all) they should make it a proper low vis... Then make a proper stealth variant.

Like I said...I used the term for it like several collectors use the term "commander type" for the VF-1J Mass Production Type....sorry if that confused anyone...

You mean this one

http://www.ebay.com/itm/281124794761

I guess 700 is reasonable for this.

Yep....Considering how many were actually made and how many ever make it to market, I'd say that it sold for a fair US Market Price (after adding shipping and proxy fees)...

If anyone is interested, there is one up on YJA.....

Yup, it went from a sellers market to a buyers market pretty quickly.

I bet we'll see a glut of 19's too haha.

Still though, if you think about it, an opened MIB valk shouldn't sell for more than retail unless it was limited, rare, or special in some way.

I still think it's too high for some of the stock VF-1's to sell for $130, but it is what it is. It's also down to what somebody is willing to pay to get something.

Just have to wait for the new normal.

Well they are all special snowflakes now because Yamato doesn't exist anymore. :D

If Arcadia hasn't any plans for re-releasing their old products I'm sure that prices will increase again.

Still hoping for a reissue of the VF-11C and the rest of the Macross Plus line when they release the YF-19 V3 in 2014. :)

I refuse to pay more than 200 for a VF-1 even if it has not been opened or a rare valk no matter how much I want it.

I was toying and wooshing my 11B yesterday and the transformation is so simple and smooth, clearly one of Yamato's best works. They could reissue the 11B/C with "option parts" like a heatshiled that clips in the middle of the forearm (as seen in the VF-19S/F/P) with extra gunpod magazines and dare I say atmospheric boosters for the B.

The real test will be if Arcadia pulls out a new mold for the VF-1, and perhaps a new VF-4 repaint.

That market will crumble. I'm still hoping for a VT rerelease.

i think based on what we learned about the T-Rex designs on the yf-19 2014 thread

a re-design for the vf-1 is unlikely other than re-releases

hopefully arcadia will be able to obtain the license for the flashback version. then we can all be happy

Actually hoping they pay zero some attention first. They are really due for a renewal.

I agree but since I don't collect the Zero line and have an unfinished Macross 7 collection my wishes for 2014 are different (VF-1J Milia 2045 *cough*). Maybe if the prices for old Yamato Valkyries are declining I might be able to snag a VF-11C at or below MSRP. Frankly this toy needs only a reissue and not a renewal since it is pretty good (minus the tail fins).

i think that's normal for a used 4g, add proxy and shipping fees and it'll come out to about 435-440 shipped. which is about right.

looks like across the board there's a lot vf-1 flooding the market. i'm going to look for some extras.
