areaseven Posted January 26, 2014 Author Share Posted January 26, 2014 Finally got to watch this film tonight. I forgot exactly which critic said it, but Kick-Ass 2 is a victim of its own formula. Sure, there are a lot of funny lines, but somewhere halfway, the concept loses its meaning and ends up becoming a generic revenge movie that tries to throw in every superhero trope.
