I could give it a try to re join the pieces in to something decent usin my 3d modeling software. If anyone has the split into pieces obj model i could give it a try. By the way I know "xr79" was "fixing" models from M30 too. Their goal seemingly to import this stuff into "second life." Yet sharing the models here? Irony. This part of that thread: That's cheating! Easy to notice this in game even with that inbuilt hanger model viewer, stuff vanishing or appearing out of nowhere at like the last frame of the transformation animation. I’m a big fan of that VB-6 Konig Monster. I’m thinking buying that game just so I can rip that model... actually, all the models and see if I can upload them in Garry’s mod. I shared some capital ship models not long ago and when he got a new batch of Valk models of his own, all of a sudden he had some nebulous "copyright" concern and could no longer share. I've found a number of Macross things on Cults3d.com most of which people want some money for, BUT there is one very nice guy offering all his Macross models for free (and he has some very nice things)! https://cults3d.com/en/users/MiniValks/creations You will have to register to download but that's free too, To find the rest of the Macross stuff just do a search for Macross. After looking around a bit further, it looks like he's planning on releasing Battle 5 (the Zentraedi-style version) and Macross 13 (the "evil" version from VF-X2) as well, possibly in time for halloween (according to his Facebook). I'm just hoping that when he's done with the SDFs he has some time over for their escorts.... These are the MiniValk models, painted up in a 3D software suite because 3D prints are expensive and real life does not come with glowy paints or a ctrl-z button. Also, it lets me paint two models for the time invested in just one, as I can make palette swaps really easily. It's kind of amazing what just swapping to the more modern Frontier-ish color palette does to make the two very 80s or 90s hero unit-looking ships turn into credible warships, even without a single addition to the models. Always loved the NUNS VF-171s from Frontier, really a unique and good looking paint scheme. Since the VF-25 was on track to become the mainstay fighter for the Frontier fleet, thought I'd give a try at coming up with a Frontier NUNS livery for it. This is my first try at it. I think I may have overdone it on the black highlights, but am still messing with it. Let me know any thoughts, suggestions, etc. Thanks! Panel lines and detailing are next. Don't know if it's any good or not, but it's looking like my intent when I started out at least. I'll take the win.
