As much as I'd love those (still may do the 11 armour or the 19 parts), I know from past, bigger kits that no one would buy due to cost.

Conversion kits might be ok tho. I've never looked too much into MtR.

In my experience, people aren't willing to alter the original plastic by drilling holes etc for this to be worthwhile - if i made replacement parts (such as the main fuselage between the nacelles) it'd drive up the cost too much. People already have an issue with the cost of some of my Shapeways parts. The leg armour is totally do-able tho. I could throw this one in the do-able, maybe med-cost pile.

Actually, now that I look at my VF-4, pulling out the verniers reveals 2 square holes on each side... HMMMMMMmmm.......

Let me get back to you.

Personally - I *love* these boosters. I have toyed with the idea a few times. It'd be massive tho & expensive...

Sorry I do not speak English I use a translator but what I feel is about this post

4 pack of Bandai missiles just ordered and shipped to my brother in Eugene, Oregon. Some tricky credit card payment options made it possible, even though I'm in OZ but hopefully they'll be waiting for me when I'm there for Christmas.

Thanks for all your efforts, mate!

Bandai type Anti-Vajra missiles;

Yamato type Anti-Vajra missiles;

These SHOULD work, I had to remove a bit of the exhaust nozzle and widen the hole. Still looks 98% the same as the anime.

Free shipping today at Shapeways (dammit!!);

"Order anything from the Shapeways marketplace or order your own designs and take 25% off your entire order. Enter code: SMALLBIZMONDAY at checkout and you'll also get Free Shipping today only."

took advantage and re-ordered the VF-1XX+ head. Finally got it after the problem with the initial order. I have to say, detail looks really good when printed in FUD

If you could take some photos (3 or 4) that match in angle to my other head units (1J, 0C & 4K), could I post them on the SW page? I don't own a 1XX unit myself.

Voted for "other", namely, more missiles in the vein of your anti-Vajra missiles for Bandai Valkyries. All the newest DXs have had hardpoints, but unless you have access to an old 171's Armor set, you have nothing to put on them. I request some new missile/bomb designs to fill that gap.

Even making a set of your existing HMMs compatible with Bandai hardpoints would be a good deed!

Kurisama, that's actually a pretty good thing. If you do make these, can I make one suggestion? can you make them with and without the harness pieces?

I have the HMMs for the Yamato/Arcadia stuff, but even for that one, would it be possible to make it without the harness, but have a pin that can connect into a harness? I'm not sure if you know what I'm talking about, but in the workshop section, there's the 1/60 Drone project I'm working on, and there were 25 orders of the 1/60 drones. If you can make a set, or retweak the version you have for that kit that has the weapon pylons already on it, I'm sure you'd get some sales for those. As of now, they look a little strange with two pylons tacked on one another.

Hey Jasonc, can u clear that up for me? Do you mean just the missile with a slot for the harness?

Also, just made available the neck plate & seats (single and tandem) option parts;

https://www.shapeways.com/product/Q4PHCQLNH/vf-1-option-part-battroid-access-1-seater

https://www.shapeways.com/product/SPCVGQ5UA/vf-1-option-part-battroid-access-2-seater

https://www.shapeways.com/product/XY5DJFFEB/vf-1-option-part-battroid-ingress-egress-hatch

As I can't purchase them to test them, I'm releasing them at cost price, once I get feedback on if they fit well (I am confident they do) or if any adjustments need to be made - I'll add my fee on the amended product.

I am also planning the the side covers soon. I have 2 variants, not sure which type people would prefer;

But also planning on doing an optional version like the one seen in the Pineapple Salad ep;

Does it cost you anything to post both variants of the side covers? Why not put both of them up? Love your work, I got a few sets of your assorted 1/60 hands a couple of years ago. Guess I may have to save up for those sweet side covers too :)

Welcome back Kurisama, thanks to new pricing on FUD and the new HP printer at Shapeways and the new smoothing method, I am pretty exited with the future 3D products.

Did you had time to try the new features at Shapeways ? I will soon order a few parts just to test the new finish :)

Oh I thought u meant new tools or shop or options something - yes, i was aware  they made some materials cheaper :)

Basically there is the new SLS-like 3D printer HP4200, which prints nylon12 like WSF, but with a smoother and almost gloss finish (marketing speech that I must verify though). And second is their new "smoothing" technic which looks really great from the pictures and it is available on a few materials like Black HP strong and flexible. All these features are in beta test phase right now anyway.

OOH! Now that I did NOT know... Thanks for the info Xigfrid. So is it replacing WSF or is a new material all together? Can you point me to the pics of the new smoothing finish?
