Re-posted from another thread.  I was messing around and added some panel lines to a previously enjoyed Max.  Some of the stickers were peeling and there was some minor discoloration but nothing catastrophic:

Bought myself a DSLR which should arrive in a few days.

In the meantime, I've been tinkering with background and lighting in preparation for my new camera. I've become dissatisfied with the quality of phone cameras by comparison. :o

The very first valkyrie I ever worked on:

Testing 1J again.

Hmmm background was supposed to be a darker blue, but with lights on it's super bright.

DUUDE SWEET!

Thanks. :good:

I appreciate the engineering behind the VF-31 series more every time I try to pose a VF-25, with their floppy joints and comparatively limited range of motion. But I do love the way they look once you wrestle them into position. 8)

Can you take this picture with a darker background? If not, i'll try to take one myself. It will be easier to crop for the diorama-photoshop Miria take down. I may have a city street pic that works for it.

I’ll see if I can get to it.

Fantastic pic!

Or a Q-Rau and 1S Max for the HMR line. Bandai will never produce a 1/48 Q-Rau.

Or a 1/60 scale version. Just can't move enough units to make it worthwhile. Best we can hope for is HMR.

Grew up in Sonoma County so been watching the updates from folks back home and the KSRO website. You aren't too close to the fires, @jenius?

Well Bandai's 1/48 is an upgraded version of Yamato's 1/48. They probably used (poached) the same engineer to create a upgraded mold for their toyline. Arcadia sure did missed an opportunity to upgrade the legendary 1/48 line.

@Saburo I like the 29b the best. Love that blue.

The 29B has a nice color scheme.  My favorites are the Ozma and Roy.

Lol marked that in your calendar, did you...

awesome shot, reminds me of how much the yellow pops against the white on roy's scheme!

gotta swoosh mine around when i have the time...;)

Hehehe, that was the plan. :D

Swoosh time is much needed!

I'm south of San Francisco (moving to Los Angeles soon). I was well away from any fires but PG&E was cutting off the transmission lines and that impacted a lot of areas far removed from the action.  Hope your peeps managed to avoid bigger headaches than some prolonged down time.
