Only took 35 years, but I finally have a TV Roy that I'm satisfied with. :)

Oooo… My turn to spin the wheel. ^_^

Valks: Past (Arcadia Strike VF-1s with the Yamato V.2 valk stand) and Present (DX Delta 31c with Supers). Note that there are no pilots nor armaments.

Technically since it is 2018 , it would be valks past and future.

Hmmm... In 2018, would the VF-4 still be a present model? Or would the VF-11 have been introduced by now?

Good point(s) there @Shizuka the Cat.

I wasn't really paying close attention to the Macross timeline when I posted these pics up; however as of the valks in collectable format, then this might be a possibility.

This is my understanding based on what I gathered on this website on the Macross Mecha Manual: http://www.macross2.net/m3/m3.html

The VF-4 will still be around while the VF-5000 would be on the drawing boards. The VF-11 didn't come into plans until 2028.

Does this help? ;)

My DYRL Roy which I started in 2013 and only just now completed. Five years isn't too bad, right?

And with that I think I need a break from decaling VF-1s for awhile. Hopefully my PF 0S arrives today and I can start tinkering with that. :)

Looks fantastic! Great job and dedication!

Waterslide decals of Skulls and Kites added to some of my Valks thanks to @Lolicon & @sumyumgoy

Need to adjust my printer to print darker and maybe not try to cut circles at 3am but hey, looks better than nothing and I'm happy.

Looks good! The kite came out especially nice.

Man, I suck at this! Thank goodness for PF version if I really cared that much.

Looks good to me! Is the decal not laying completely flat on the surface? Some decal softener can easily fix that.

Thanks! I think I may have just gotten lazy and not pressed it flat all the way around with the qtip. Never used decal softener before but I’ll check it out if I need to.

Thanks for the compliments and recommendations! I've never had to use decal softener before and this shouldn't be an issue since it is just a smooth flat surface. I think the issue was just me half assing the job. If I redo it, I will post new pics to see the difference. Looking at it again, I think it may benefit from a topcoat if I do redo it so I'll see how it all turns out.

Make sure that if you're going to use decal softener, apply a topcoat first on your decal. Without so, the softener will ruin your printed decal.
