big F
I have one of the kits now MIB, and had a couple more back in the day, I'd be happy with a nice high quality scan of the art work my self.
Shaorin
me and ARII MACROSS kits go way back. i cut my teeth as a MACROSS fan with an ARII kit, a GERWALK mode 1/100 VF-1J Hikaru T.V. to be exact. too bad those old ARII kits sucked so much, because they were the only VF-1 valks available to me for my first several years as a MACROSS fan, and i had so ravenous an appetite for VF-1 valks that i bought a bunch of those awful ARII kits. hell, i even tried to kitbash a variable VF-1S once from a pair of GERWALK and BATTROID kits, to no small ultimate failure. anyway, i feel it rather poetically elegant that my first YAMATO 1/60v.II, the first ever VF-1 replica in three dimensions to actually live up to my vision of the perfect variable VF-1, to be the VF-1J Hikaru T.V., my original gateway valk. good wistful memories... Maiden Japan
I'm not so sure if that's original. It looks too big for that size. They must be upsized digital reproduction. I wonder how much those pieces went for.

I wonder how much those pieces went for. That link was sent to me by someone at the auction... he said they were originals. 2 pieces snapped up by some other Macross Box artist... AcroRay
Wow... Nice to see that they still exist out there somewhere, though!
EXO
I'm glad they're gonna be in a collection and not deteriorating in some warehouse.
ron5864
They should at least sell poster size replicas for people who want to hang one or two on the wall next to their Macross collection.
MechTech
Yeah, I think I would build a new room just to decorate it with these and my other goodies. Then I would officially open it up as a museum, seek tax shelter, and charge entry fees (one old Arii kit each ;^) for building up the display cases. An additional fee would be charged for those that drool on the floor! - MT
