Those more closely resemble the source material, whereas Bishoujo line accentuate the cute/moe look of the characters since they are all based on Shunya Yamashita's illustrations. Either lean fully into her Alpha/Zero aesthetic - the kind of stereotypically cute, slim and smooth anime schoolgirl look - or lean more into her maturing look from V - more muscle definition, less cute. I think the pose could be better, too. Doesn't scream "Sakura Kasugano" quite so much as if they had her, say, doing her victory dance or something. Of all the SF Bishoujo figures, I think I'd like to get my hands on Juri the most. Everything about it looks spot on to the character while still being aesthetically "bishoujo." That or Ibuki. But no for real, I have that second figure and it is wonderful. (Managed to get mine for a relative steal (~$120 shipped) on YJP.) I agree it adheres better to Sadamoto's style than the 1/7, though I'm sure that one's not bad either, it's all a matter of taste. Also if you pay thru their CC processor Payfort, they have a $45 discount on shipping. Size of the statue is 60cmx60cmx55cm so have to look for a big space to display it (by the way, they say the swords are diecast). PO is still open as of this writing.
