Don't forget that Sarah spent her time doing love sticks for all the guys in the village... this alone should make her one of the most popular Macross girls in history...but no...nobody likes Sarah... :-(

I don't consider MacII part of the Macross franchise, so i eliminated them for my consideration.

As much as Macross7 has grown on me, i still can't like Basara. I still think he is a narcissistic ego-maniac that has no consideration for other peoples opinions or beliefs.

For female, i picked Sarah, just because i didn't feel much of a connection with the character.
