In the last update to my website, I posted some high resolution scans I made of the "Remember Me" Data Book and Operation Manual. They are interesting books with some very good artwork inside.

A few years back, a seller on YJA was selling the "original" sketches for the unique mecha seen in this game. At the time is was hard to tell if they were actually "real". In hindsight, they probably were. The illustrations in my book and the scans on your site will need to suffice!

These were some of the sketches the seller had for sale....

Not sure.. they haven't arrived yet. They only got posted out over the weekend so hopefully they'll arrive by the end of this week or early next week and I'll let you know! The pics I saw when I googled the books look ok.

we need to do a Macross Red Bull Reno racer, some of the best fun I've had in a PC game is doing the Air Race events in Warthunder in my Yak-3 painted up in V Energy Drinks colours. My Sister (another IRL Glider pilot) races a Matt Black and Pink Chrome Yak-3P

these are in game ones before you get too excited. We both fly gliders in real life but battle each other in game in Warthunder in the Yaks.

ahhh I see! but still cool! love flight sims! though flying actual gliders is awesome! a friend of mine from school waaayyy back (25 or so years) his father had a two seat glider and I got to go up for a flight with him! I've been flying a few times but the feeling of flying with no engine was quite a different experience! down in Wollongong..

As the book title suggests.....virtually 100% character design artwork.....if you want a Macross Delta book with more variety including the mecha I would recommend the recent Febri magazine Macross Delta special....

Macross Modelling - Macross Delta Special Edition Hobby Japan Mook

A nice book covering most of the VFs from Macross Delta. This book will give you a good idea on how much you will be spending on Bandai Macross Delta DX toys in the coming years!

If Bandai never released another DX VF-31.....but released a SOP Elysion....I'd be OK with that....

gallery_12176_640_2522621.jpg

Will Bandai really just stop at the 1/100 HMR version?

Good looking books there JV. I may pick up the characters book when I get a chance.

Here's what I found last week... Macross DYRL? Postcard Book. Thanks to Adrian for the tip.

Thanks Bub, it's a really nice book....

Nice find on the DYRL Postcard book....probably one of the first Macross books I ever acquired when I started collecting Macross books....

Incidentally, there wasn't another Macross "postcard" book released since the DYRL postcard book until just recently with this one....

med_gallery_12176_640_230275.jpg

It was released during the Macross 30th Anniversary "Macross the Design" exhibit from a few years ago....

Sample pics can be found here....

Grab it if you find it...they are hard to come by....

Depends....you want brand new....go with HLJ or Amazon....you are in Australia, not sure who would give you the best shipping....if you are in the US....you can't beat Amazon.jp's shipping rates on books....

If you do not mind used....I've seen some show up on YJA already...I think Mandarake too....
