Having received my Defender, I was disappointed by the color " yellow-mustard"... :(

I decided to repaint my defender in "Olive drab" that is more color's army than the yellow Caterpillar... :p

After sanding, I use air spray Tamiya AS-6.

Beurk, the color "blue-grey"of the joints is hideous... :(

I repeinds that with XF-56 "Metallic Grey" of Tamiya... I demont again <_<

After a weathering, I apply stickers to my taste... B))

And now, I think it's better?! No?

Looks like a real ground pounder with that OD color. Your finish looks great! It would look really mean with a little more weathering and dirtying up. Those white markings really stand out on the darker surface. I definitely like the color change you made to the joint areas, good choice there.

Keep up the good work and your "Engrish" is just fine. Your work speaks for itself!

Both look awesome - my preference is the lighter sandy coloured one as it really brings out the detail, it looks almost lifesize.
