Toynami has a painted sample and a packaged hardcopy/sample of their 1/100 "Battlepod" figure at their SDCC '09 booth, pictured at Figures.com:

I really like the packaging. Its reminiscent of the packaging for Takatoku's large sofubi Macross toys and smaller sofubi sets. As Toynami's Voltron vinyl is similarly packaged, I'm inclined to suspect that the Battlepod may also be a sofubi offering.

Yamato had a sample motor cycle Roy themed helmet at Wonder Festival today. No Pictures were allowed, they want to gauge if there is any interest on it so I would guess the lisensing is not set in stone yet. It looked pretty cool, but since I don't ride motorcycles it was just neat to look at.

This may be a false alarm but doesn't this valk look GREEN?

Could this be an Alaska Base version? (sorry if this is already old news or if the color is just off in the pic)

there the regular VF-1S strike bundles, but when they ship it they throw in a free flash light that says macross on it. the flashlights are leftovers from the SDF launch event back in February.

Despite the awful photoshop done to the promotion pics, this VF-1S will be mine!!!

Wonder how the final product will actually look like. What color will the canopy frame be (white, black, grey)? Will it have any black markings?

I just received the newsletter from "over-drive-inc.com" and it had an interesting announcement regarding the Q-Rhea from Macross Frontier. The Robot Spirits (Robot Damashii) line is releasing the grey Q-Rhea from the Pixie Squad. It appears to me that they are exploiting the existing molds with this welcome release!

Bandai Webshop Exclusive Pre-orders started on November 6, 2009 with and expected release date of October 2010.

Yes!!! A 1/60 Zentran soldier, but it's from the company that makes the prototypes for Yamato. The same company that sold the wonderfest exclusive bags for the mospeada and the 1/60 seats for battroid mode.

I hope yamato sees the potential of 1/60 zentran figures!!!!
