The Shinsen Raw works when I got it off of Tokyo Toshokan. Its going at a snail's pace though now at around 10kbps but I'm assuming that's cos of the low swarm count right now. It should pick up a little later as more people complete the leech.

I dunno, the RAWs for Frontier had been maxing out my connection at times (with 1 seeder) for previous releases. I think the deal here is that Shinsen is releasing it, and its not a usual release for them. I'm thankful to have it at all, really. I'll take slow. :)

The Shinsen raw started out fast for me at 200 kB/s for about 5 minutes. Now it's at a snail's pace.

Holy crap! I can't believe that the Macross Quarter is a battroid! I want one!

I loved the new Sheryl song. If I saw correctly in the end credits, the song is called "Infinity".

Shinsen doesn't really release raws as far as I know. It's likely someone just piggybacking on them because they're famous within the community and/or using their names as a joke. For example, someone combined my script for the Deculture Edition with some of Shinsen's work on it and titled the file "Shinsen-in-Action" awhile ago but I highly doubt it was Shinsen themselves.

Anyway, good episode. The show really is piggybacking on everything Macross so far though. The action is definitely topnotch but there are too many songs at times. =|

Interesting to see that the Galaxy is like that, explains Sheryl's distaste for it though. The Koenig Monster entrance was awesome and Ozma shouting "All Units, Planet Dance!" before breaking was hilarious.

No, check their website, they are indeed releasing RAW from now on.

I'll try watching it again, I'm curious about the Galaxy fleet explanation

Ok, here is what I got about Galaxy fleet information from the narration:

It was launch prior to Macross Frontier as the 21st large scale immigration ship. It focused on cybernetic and implant research and implemented it on it citizen, basically its like a huge research fleet. Maybe another reason why Vajra attack them, like they did to the 117th research fleet 11 years ago.

My hearing is not very accurate so take it with agrain of salt

can't seem to connect to Shinsen's BT2 either (where they said they're putting the RAWs). something's weird going on here...

3 cappers got arrested last week... probably take longer this time

Where did you hear about that? Whats the story?? Got a link? (I am more interested in the cappers themselves, I would hate to think that people were jailed just for uploading stuff to the web, but I know it happens.)

I think someone put up a link here, or that might have been on the ZERO RAWs IRC channel. They were talking about it there, as well.

Oh wow, how could I forget,

WE HAVE DESTROIDS!

I was cheering at that stage, great to see them back. They looked very similar to the Macross Zero version. (Maybe they got lazy and used the same models.)

(Btw... Screw Mikhail, Klan Klan, Ozma, Kanaria or Alto... Bobby Margot is the MAN!!!!)

True, Bobby is really given the chance to rock in this episode. Not just a passive gay man after all.

This was one fantastic episode of amazing battles. Incredible CG artwork and some incredible action. The introduction of the VB-6 Konig Monster was well worth the wait. It truly deserves the name Monster! :) This episode has me blown away. I don't know how I'm going to write a review for this one. I'm practically jumping out of my seat :)

I will say space sure does seem populated with a large amount of asteroids

Animation complaints aside, there is one production thing I'm kind of dissatisfied with in the show. The audio mixing is really typical for a Japanese anime/game. The music and effects are too loud and overshadow the vocals far too often. It's extremely annoying when I want to hear the lyrics or the dialogue and not the sound of gunfire or a guitar. It's even doubly worse for me because it makes it harder to translate. =|
