Its cockpit it certainly like nothing we've seen before in Macross. If the VF-25 is a next generation fighter, the VF-27 is far beyond it. Brera has something going on with Sheryl's earing, and carries a harmonica in the cockpit with him. Oh, and he knows Aimo. Ranka and Sheryl have some cosmic thing going on during the concert as well. raymond Posted May 15, 2008 Share Posted May 15, 2008 So far... THE. BEST. EPISODE. EVER. Battle scenes are awesome. Pretty much the whole episode is devoted to it. Sheryl topless! Finally! Well, kind of. She still has a towel and her long hair covering the interesting bits. Kind of Blue Lagoon-ish coverup. I didn't like the way they recycled some animation clips from the first episode and the deculture edition but I guess its okay given the context. I'm guessing that since the first concert was canceled, Sheryl's just re-doing the concert with the same act. VF-27 and that mysterious guy from the opening finally make an appearance. If you thought that Ranka's manager looked creepy, an even creepier Zentradi makes his appearance on the bridge of the Battle 25. We finally get a good look at the Battle 25 bridge, its captain, and some (I assume) higher-ranked officers. Macross quarter transforms at last! And its not like its made of lego bricks like the SDF or Battle 7 either. This one moves like a battroid. BTW, can someone explain why Ranka's stomach glowed just before she cheered for Sheryl? Tobi54 Posted May 15, 2008 Share Posted May 15, 2008 This episode is effin' EPIC I know the term has been thrown around quite a bit, but really, the battle was just massive, Satelight completely just blew everything away in terms of CG for a TV series, now I need a fansub to put together the plot holes -Cathy needs to get with the program lol -Bobby's a badass. -Pop-up chairs are awesome -We got a new song, they sure keep them coming. -The shot of Ozma firing his armored VF25 was jawdropping. -Konig Monster intro was pretty sweet. This was the XXX of mecha porn. On first viewing I thought he was helping free the fighter, but he definitely shot at them (or, atleast, at his gun). But then we see Brera flying with the VF-25's at the end of the episode.
