And this year we will sell her CDs as the entrance fee to the Con. People are already showing up now they can pay to meet Mari Ijima. So she made a nice chunk of money for 2 hours of talking. After seeing the pics of Mari Ijima, it just makes me wonder what she thought of all you drooling fan boys........... Hehe!! Thanks to all who took pictures and it was cool to see what Frank & Sons looked like after all this time. Seems that California is the place to be if you dig anime! Not much here in the Boston area at all. Although, I did just score a Bonaparte (Dominion: Tank Police) figure from Yamato at a local record store! They don't normally allow that. They usually escort you back to your car to drop off the camera and let you off with a warning. Saw it happen a couple of times. hehe    Yeah this is true. Exactly one year ago i was down there to attend the Transformers convention "BotCon" in Pasadena. While i was there i visited Frank n Sons, and it was awesome! I was filming inside with my video camera for about 20 minutes or so when a guy comes up to tell me to put away the camera. I thought hw was playing around and i told him "yeah right!". He then told me, that he was head of security and the place was private property and there was no filming allowed without permission from the owner. So he escorted my ass back to my truck and made me put the camera away. Wow they were strict about that rule and caught me off guard!
