Why does in robot mode it has 2 coloumns, and in truck mode 4? I never understood why they didnt just make them the same (like in the movie, altho i cant remember how many it was). I never understood why they didnt just make them the same (like in the movie, altho i cant remember how many it was). because they were trying to make MPC Convoy as close to an actual cab as they could.. and the grill on a cab isn't segmented in that way. The black not only looks better, but suddenly he looks like a more real microscope and gives some credence to the 'tank' mode (whereas not only did the original Perceptor colors make him look tacky and cheap, but the microscope mode looked like a kid's 2x microscope and the tank mode looked like the same thing, only broken and compacted ). It turned out that it was just a bad angle and he actually looked cool as a robot. I went back to get him and he was gone. I think my other choice at that time was Tracks. All I see now are Sideswipes, Smokescreens and empty spaces. Found a few Silvers and a Hound but I already have those. What is the total release of Alts up to now? 12? 13? Too bad my store only had wind charger, silverstreak, and swindle. I have them already. I also stopped by Target and found grimlock, wind charger, ravage, and shockblast. I picked up all of them but found them in another aisle. Apparently someone or an employee were hiding them for themselves or someone else. Luckily for me I browsed the whole toy section. I don't think anyone was trying to hide them, I think it was just more of the employee who didn't know the difference. Most Transformers have a distinct unrealistic look to them, but the Alts look exactly like the real deal. It's as if Yamato was making the Transformers... But that could be attributed to the fact that gigantic VF-1 type planes don't really exist in real life (unlike, say, the Mazda RX-. F-15s don't *quite* resemble your average valk.
