  2. Here's a review of the old 1/144 VF-11C from Bandai.
  3. Looks like another gundam anime is on the way, based on the thunderbolt series! via gundamguy... Story Synopsis: Universal Century 0079. Federation troops and Zeon forces carry out a fierce battle in the "Thunderbolt Sector" in what was once Side 4 "Mua". The "Thunderbolt Sector" is a shoal zone composed of the debris of destroyed space colonies, named for the electrical discharges from the metal debris. MS pilot Io Flemming is among the Federation soldiers who are dispatched to the area, where Zeon sniper Daryl Lorenz awaits them on the battlefield. http://gundam-tb.net/
  4. Hello everybody, This is my first thread, but I have a question that I feel only my fellow Macross fans could help to answer. I am an amateur 3D artist and as a hobby, I enjoy modeling Valkyries. I just started a new model of a VF-11 Thunderbolt. I want to make it as close to the line art as possible while still being able to transform it from fighter to battroid. For reference, I have Yamato's VF-11B and Hasegawa's injection kits. They look good and will work great, but I noticed when I started measuring them that the proportions don't match the specs given in all the documentation of the V
  5. Latest addition to my completed collection. A 1/72 scale VF-11B Thunderbolt, from Hasegawa, plus a 1/72 resin booster set from the Club M release of same. The Club M release also came with the Super Packs, so that's why I used the boosters on this one. As usual, more to be seen here.
  6. Hi guys. I'm finishing a VF-11 battroid resin model kit made by Retppu. As you know, I usually show my models in conventions and modelling expositions. Because of that, I always make "presentation cards" to each model kit, and one of the data included is the production date. And for this model, it has been impossible to me to find it. If any of you know this information, please post it.
  7. Here is my latest completed work. Hasegawa's 1/72 VF-11B Thunderbolt from Macross Plus. Cockpit Detail: And with this kit finished, I have finally completed my Macross Plus collection!
  8. 1/72 scale VF-11 Thunderbolt Super Battroid, from Hobby Base Retppu Built by me. but I will admit I didn't do all that good of a job. Just coming off a several year absence from building, probably shouldn't have tackled a resin kit at that time. However, it is a resin kit, so it should clean up pretty well for those who want the challenge of refurbishing, or display it as is if you're brave enough! (note the lovely lazy knees) $45 takes it, including shipping from Japan. (hey, it is a resin kit after all!)
