    Coming to theaters this Thanksgiving is Disney's Moana, directed by Ron Clements and John Musker (Aladdin, Hercules) and featuring the following voices: Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson (The Scorpion King, Hobbs in The Fast and the Furious series) as Maui Auli'i Cravalho as Moana Waialiki Rachel House as Gramma Tala Temuera Morrison (Jango Fett in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones, Commander Cody in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith) as Chief Tui Waialiki Nicole Scherzinger (the talented one in The Pussycat Dolls) as Sina Waialiki Jemaine Clement (Flight of the Conchords) as Tamatoa Alan Tudyk (Duke of Weselton in Frozen, Duke Weaselton in Zootopia) as Heihei Music is by Mark Mancina (Speed, Blood+) with songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton, In the Heights) and Opetaia Foa'i (of the New Zealand band Te Vaka).     Zootopia has been under our radar for months, mostly because the trailers weren't that impressive. However, even before its official U.S. release on March 4, the film is already receiving rave reviews.   9. The as of yet untitled Episode 8 is written and directed by Rian Johnson, and slated for release December 15, 2017. DAYS UNTIL STAR WARS: EPISODE VIII Lots of news on the next film in the new trilogy: The release date has been pushed back from May 2017 to December 2017. $$$$ Rian Johnson is revising his script, in what is said to be a move to reduce the role of further new characters and focus more on the trio introduced in TFA. Principle photography was set to begin in the next few weeks (end of January 2016), but has been delayed until February 2016 because of the script revision. Some filming with Hamill and Ridley was done on Skellig Michael island in fall 2015. Word is they will not be returning to the island due to the difficulty in shooting there, and they will pick up shots elsewhere and on a soundstage for further scenes on the island. Whatever they needed for physical continuity was gotten this past fall.

Andrew Stanton (A Bug's Life, WALL-E) returns to direct this film after learning his mistake of doing John Carter. Ellen DeGeneres (The Ellen DeGeneres Show, sometimes host of the Academy Awards) and Albert Brooks (Bernie Rose in Drive, various voices in The Simpsons) reprise their roles as Dory and Marlin, respectively. Also returning are Willem Dafoe (The Last Temptation of Christ, John Geiger in Speed 2: Cruise Control) as Gill and Vicki Lewis as Deb.   13. Coming to theaters on November 25 is The Good Dinosaur, which may be Pixar's most difficult project. Originally slated for release in 2014, the film experienced production problems toward the third act to a point where the whole film had to be scrubbed and the entire voice cast had to be changed after original director Bob Peterson left the project.
