  8. Okay fellas. It turns out a bunch of us MW'ers are comic book readers. Some of us are even comic artists in the industry. For what its worth I can say a good majority of us are comic fans. From Justice League, to Batman, V for Vendetta, to Akira. So I thought it was a good time to make a comic thread, so post all your comic book stuff here! What are you all into right now? Any particular artists tickle your fancy? Writers? I LOVE Garth Ennis' writing on the Punisher comic. Very vulgar and violent, but in some way I find it kind of funny at the same time. "Born", "Welcome back frank", and "
  9. Fans of the Preacher: it looks like its gonna stay faithful to the book. http://www.scifi.com/scifiwire/index.php?c...=3&id=39072 "Mark Steven Johnson, who has just signed a deal with HBO to adapt the popular Vertigo comic Preacher into an hourlong series, told SCI FI Wire that he plans to turn each issue of the comic into a single episode, which will be as close to the original source material as possible. "I gave [HBO] the comics, and I said, 'Every issue is an hour,'" Johnson said at a preview of his upcoming film Ghost Rider in Hollywood, Calif., on Nov. 30. "And it's exactly the b
  10. Cowboy Ninja Viking is a limited comic book series by A. J. Lieberman and Riley Rossmo and published by Image Comics from 2009 to 2010. It revolves around a government-trained assassin with multiple personality disorder (hence the title). Five years after the first announcement of a film adaptation, we get some solid information on it: Universal Pictures currently has the film rights after Disney dropped it in 2012. Chris Pratt (Quill/Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy, Andy in Parks and Recreation) has been confirmed to star in the film. Looks like that weight-loss program is reeling in t
  11. Hello Zentrans and Meltrans! Sorry... that was corny. Anyone out there creating webcomics or their own comics based off of the Macross fandom or Macross universe? I know there is a fanfic thread and I was going to post a webcomic I did about Macross but I don't think if was the right forum to do so. And so I created this one. Please feel free to post your own Macross related work here or links to any Macross related webcomics out there. Only rules are to be nice, have fun, and don't be shy about posting your own work! Let me start it off with a link to a strip I just posted recently. E
