  1. Well since the old thread has been moved, time to keep the ball rolling. Share your thoughts, pics of your models or anything else of BSG interest!
  2. Anyone collecting these? I've just started. Hoping there are fans here so I have people to discuss collecting these with. I've picked up the Enterpise-D and Enterprise movie refit. The D was flawless. Unfortunately, the movie refit had misaligned nacelles that are not parallel. One nacelle also sits higher than the other. It really bugs my OCD. I don't know if they are all like that or I just got a bad one? Is there bootlegs of these? I did get mine from China missing the book.

  4. Dean Stockwell passed away on Sunday, November 7th! I will always remember him as Al from Quantum Leap! But his role as mentor to Jonas Quinn in Season 6 of Stargate SG-1 was heartbreaking and that episode stayed with me. His career lasted 70 years! He was in one of the later Thin Man movies with William Powell and Mirna Loy in the 1940's. RIP Dean Stockwell, you will be but not forgotten! https://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/films/news/dean-stockwell-death-quantum-leap-b1954096.html https://www.tmz.com/2021/11/08/dean-stockwell-dead-dies-quantum-leap-married-to-the-mob/
  5. https://deadline.com/2019/09/battlestar-galactica-reboot-drama-series-sam-esmail-nbc-streaming-service-peacock-1202736127/ Seems like NBCUniversal is taking a page from the CBS / Trek Discovery playbook. This time it's Robert Esmail, creator of Mr. Robot, following up Ronald D. Moore's earlier reboot. Personally I welcome it as I want to see some cheesy space opera with Egyptian helmets, Greek motifs, insectoid planets, ancient dapper spirits of evil, and reptilian Cylons hell-bent on extinguishing the 12 colonies of Kobol. Will we get any of that? One can hope.
  6. I don't know if this is an official release or just a fan project but the effects look great.....though they seem to be using the MK2 canopy frame for the pilot POV instead of the original vipers frame. Still cool though hope it is a full release ala Star Trek TOS remastered. Chris
  7. Glen A. Larson, the producer behind the series Knight Rider, Battlestar Galactica, Magnum, P.I., The Six Million Dollar Man, Quincy M.E., The Fall Guy, Manimal, Automan, and The Highwayman, died on November 14 at age 77.
