  1. A little bit demotivated by the big build that was my yf-19, I tried this time with a more pocket sized valk, so I did an SD vf-1s currently working on instructions on stud.io
  2. I am doing the celshading in an old beat up Yamato, I got it very yellowed and some parts missing but it is coming along. Some of the fotos have really bad lighting.
  3. I decided to try out the technique in a bigger model, a friend may want me to build and paint his 1/20 planax, but I declined as I think I need practice and I am a really bad builder
  4. Hi, guys... I found this picture on my big Macross stuff, on my diskdrive. Many of the images and files that I have there, I have them with their place of origin attached, as for example, some of the excellent fanarts that has been published here. But in this case, with this image that I downloaded about a year ago or more, I have no idea. Apparently belongs to some artbooks that I have no knowledge, since they were two pages together. The image, the download of a French Macross page, which unfortunately ceased to exist. Does anyone know it? Have you seen it? PS: Already try to look it on google.
  5. On display at Tamashii Nation 2017 but no pics... for now. Supposedly 1/48 scale. Reported from:

Original drawing. Drawn by hand, an d painted in Photoshop. Roy stands his ground in macross island, as the first contact was made with the aliens. Clipped in the right arm, Roy's valkyrie bleeds slowly.

  9. I sure know how to get distracted! Cleaning up the weathering before a final top coat... thought I'd post latest progress (and supers!) I like to use water-based weathering so I can adjust it. Problem is, I keep adjusting it... I'm never happy. Oh well. Updating first post with most recent pics:

  14. Hello, long time lurker here. Several years ago, I purchased the Yamato 1/48 VF-1S with a set of super/strike parts. During that time I assembled everything togther and the jet booster back would not stay up in battroid mode. Eventually I just put it back in the box and forgot about it, was somewhat dissapointed overall. Now years later, and after reading some threads here, I was interested if anyone has any tips on getting the battroid mode to work with the jet booster packs? I've read some threads saying there were some flaws with the early 1/48 releases, or that maybe the transformation was done wrong. Also, I saw in the strike pars manual an addtional piece that could be used around the neck area, that was not in the box, but not clear what it was for (see pics). http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?app=gallery&album=807 Also, was the head of the 1/48 Valk supposed to be so loose?
  15. Recently I have one of the members here introducing me to legos and then I branched into nanoblock due to the costs and space required, any way I wanted to share my work and take any suggestions for new models. Also I would like to know if there are other people in this fandom
