  2. Am not a league of legends gamer, nor a netflix binge watcher. But Arcane has got me binge watching a few episodes so far. This show is a A-class example of how character animation should be approached. The facial expressions, movement all give weight and drama. And the world and scenes themselves are amazingly stylish yet, via the style, it conveys the worlds realism via shadows and highlights amazingly. Script is fantasy, steam punk but character development is well integrated without sacrificing pace. Kudos to the team for keeping me this engaged. No requirement to have played LoL to watch this show. But i do appreciate a 4K TV to show all the gorgeous imagery. 😄 whoa. sting...
  3. .....What is it? No cheating. A single movie, not a series (LOTR for example). I think I have to go with Aliens.
  4. Looking forward to Batman, but I'm not sure about the Superman series.

  7. So season 1 just finished. After suffering through Star Trek Discovery (except for the episodes with Pike) and Picard not really feeling like Star Trek ST Lower Decks was different and fun. Sure episode one felt like it was trying too hard with all the references and Mariner and Boimler being a bit Rick & Morty but they and the cast grow on you. It started feeling like a cartoon version of The Orville, which I feel is the spiritual successor to ST after Voyager. The finale though... who the hell thought these old TNG joke aliens would be back except upgraded?! Like damn. But the kicker was when a Federation ship shows up and a few seconds later you’re like wait what why is that am I hearing what I think I’m hearing?? YES!! (Trying hard to be spoiler free) Suffice it to say I enjoyed the campy romp of STLD and I’m in for season 2.

  12. Anyone catch this on Netflix yet? It's loosely based on the Castlevania III NES video game. The characters got some nice depth and backstory to each of them, and the series upped the gore factor by about 1000 percent (Considering Dracula raises an army from the bowels of hell, those demons do some pretty graphic killings). The only con is that this first "season" is ridiculously short (clocking in at only 4 episodes long). But it's a really good series that I'm intrigued to see more of.
  13. I've been perusing Tenjin Hidetaka's Instagram account, I like the cats to know if you guys have also been following other similar artists/mechanical designers and who are you following?
