  1. Well, after some snarky comments about my VF-1S in another place and a rough week, I had just about had it. I had started making super/ strike armor for this (the Mauler cannon was a major issue) and I was feeling pretty low. Thom changed all of that... Thom: "This is UNSPACY Mission Control; sending materiel reinforcements to Pengbuzz's position. Standby for drop..."* And the Pengbuzz almost keeled over from shock! So, I set to work: Yeah, I need to finish scrubbing down the old paint and whatnot. But so far, a pretty good fit! One thing that was not going to work was the arm launchers; they were too small (an issue with the kit, not Thom's kindness!). So, i simply used the ones I had been making. On one of the super boosters, I removed the front missile module; guess what's going there instead? Stay tuned... this bird's goin' to space...
  2. Hey Macross World Community, I'm a long time fan, and first time poster. About a month ago, I purchased the Club M 1/48 Ultimate Detail Strike Valkyrie from Valk009. I had the kit sent to a master modeller,Luca Zampriolo, and here are the final results of his work after one month. If you're interested in his work and would like to have a kit commissioned, please contact Luca Zampriolo. Please check him out here. SD Valk Head Dryfit 1

From the album: Custom DYRL 1A 1/55 Head Project

A closer shot of the dryfit of Bandai SD Super Max VF-1A SD kit's head to reissue Hikaru Bandai 1/55 DYRL VF-1A (which I obtained minus its original head, fitted with an old Jetfire head instead), to check scale & style. Looks in-scale, and the big SD-style eye doesn't look out of place on the big, blocky 1/55 body design.

  5. So, who here owns the 1/48 scale Ultimate Detail Strike Valkyrie from Club M? When did you buy it? How much? And are you ever going to build it? Or have you already built it? Post pictures please!! I don't know why, but I was thinking about this kit today. Last time I saw an original for sale was a few weeks ago on Yahoo Auctions, going for 100,000 yen. Gee, for some reason it didn't sell... I see a recast all the time for 25,000 yen.
