Although they never showed takeoffs, or landings from the runway on the ARMD's, I thought it would be fun to make the runway like a carrier deck, since I won't actually have the Prometheus on this SDF-1. -

I am posting more details on the Nanoblock SDF-1 I posted in facebook, I will post my official toy collection, but as you can see I have kept busy, now I need to buy more sets with blue mosaic parts to give it a smother finish. I also ran out of blue parts. this ting is bigger than I expected and actually in my first try I had to start over as I realize the size was way bigger,as I was putting too much detail on the bridge. I took the pics with my phone so WB is terrible I know

If I can find a way to put Hikaru's VF-1S out the window saluting, and make it look good, that might come later. But for now, this is supposed to represent that same angle from the DYRL movie. -

The bridge area. Misa, Claudia, Grobal, Shammy, Kim, and Vanessa are all represented by colored wool. I hate the townsfolk in this game... Their grunting annoys me, so I'd rather represent people with stacked wool. -

This is in the component directly beneath the bridge. I'm trying to build each part of the ship separately, to add to the realism of design when the interior is completed. At least, as realistic as blocks can be...haha. That stuff on the bottom is a fountain, and a tree, with some lights. I was experimenting with what the actual lighting will look like when it is completed. -
