  1. I taken at least one serious stab at getting a decent looking Orgoid put together in LEGO, but I was never happy with the results. The orgroid is a challenge because of all the organic looking curves it uses. While it's transformation is very Valkyrie like, it's easier to pull off if you have wide variety of Bionicle parts. Getting the look to come out right is the bigger challenge because Bionicle parts just really don't want to be combined with the classic LEGO system parts. Anyways here is the result of a few hours work, taking what I've learned from my previous attempt. I still need to come up with a head and figure out how to do the backpack hinge.
  2. I translated another Miyatake interview, this time focusing on ORGUSS. I put this up on the front page, but the auto-link discussion thread that is usually created ended up being buried in the "Collectors" forum for some reason. Anyway, check it out: http://www.macrossworld.com/kazutaka-miyatake-interview-from-megahouse-variable-action-hi-spec-orguss/
  3. Just saw this http://www.fandompost.com/2014/06/17/discotek-media-acquires-super-dimension-century-orguss-anime/ Just announced Orguss is coming to US DVD only first series from Discotek subbed including the Dub from US Renditions for the first 17 episodes.
  4. Greeting MWers... been forever and a day since I last posted here. While helping a friend move we stumbled across these little gems. My knowledge of orguss is pretty limited, but it dates back to the days of SDF Macross. Both appear to be legit, and appear to be complete, so I am looking for some information on them. I have already hit up the bay and prices seem to be all over the place, and usually I find the ARII models which from what I am reading are IMAI reissues, Unless I read otherwise, there is a good chance that neither of these has seen any daylight in 20+ years. So with that out of the way, I am looking for any info on these guys. Value if any? Rarity.. etc. etc. Thanks for the assist. Rob
  5. From Wonder Festival today. Variable Action High Spec. Details TBA.
  6. From the album: My Macross Collection

Just for fun, my Orguss mini vinyl figures.

  7. I know that this: http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=26575&&page=3 ...is the general MW Orguss topic, but I figured since it hadn't been updated since 2008 it would be OK to start a new thread.... now that it has been revealed to be on the way for an autumn release on Blu-ray! Remastered in high definition! (revealed inside the Macross Plus boxset) http://www.macrossworld.com/mwf/index.php?showtopic=37865&p=1055413 This page should be updated with details soon: http://www.toei-video.co.jp/BD/orguss.html
