  2. It looks like James Horner has died in a plane crash. No absolute confirmation yet but it sounds like it was probably him in the plane. If so, farewell to a truly iconic soundtrack composer. I have many CD's of his work in my collection......
  3. So I liked avatar last airbender...and I stress "liked" I wasn't giant fan, but appreciated the show. Now that The Legend of Korra has aired, I'm liking it a whole lot more and thought the first 2 episodes were great. The art style and animation has been knocked up. I'm sure animation quality may drop in later episodes. Now, for updates on Avatar: - The film bagged two awards for Best Picture and Best Director for a Drama (James Cameron) at the Golden Globe Awards. - Worldwide ticket sales have topped US$1.6 billion, which means it just needs US$200 million more to overtake Titanic. And, as expected, Cameron will be making at least two sequels. The first sequel will take place shortly after the first. Sam Worthington has signed on to reprise his role as Jake Sully in future sequels. Meanwhile, Stephen Lang had this to say about his character, Col. Miles Quaritch:
