  1. Lol, I never knew what MOSPEADA stood for until seeing it on that box art. It's so... wordy
  2. I never was trying to argue anything at all. He made passive-aggressive insinuations that I was both making fun of him, and nitpicking his work after I made a joke about the pose he likes. It was meant in good fun and not at all to be taken seriously hence the emoji I used. Yes, it is subjective. I appreciate his preferred technique just fine but I also think he has made use of other great techniques as well which I thought would be cool to see more of. He mentioned encouraging me when I posted my own pics, which he did. My own intent was just to encourage more use of what I would call his more impressive efforts at posing figures, but he got defensive about it. I guess he felt that was "nit picking" but that was not my intent. I have no interest in forcing anyone to do anything. But hey, I'm glad that he put me on ignore. If someone thinks amicably solving a miscommunication isn't worth their time then I'd rather not talk to them either.
  3. Did you or did you not refer to me as a "hobo making fun of a millionaire" ?
  4. After seeing all these pics, I'm really glad I took a chance on this PO. Never have had any Mospeda in my collection before 2018 so this is exciting!
  5. Kuma, That's fairly condescending. You could easily have taken that moment to think "ah, well maybe he's actually ignorant and just doesn't know where it comes from" (indeed I was) and then share your inspiration and where it comes from and it's history, pedigree, and relationship to the super robot genre in general. Obviously, based on several comments above, I'm not the only one who didn't know about Obari. When I said "I'm certain there are more heroic stances to choose from" I meant that literally.. more as in quantity, rather than quality. I don't "go through and nitpick picture after picture from pose to framing to whatever" either. I wasn't nitpicking anything. I observed that you did something different, even saying that I appreciated it. Your photos are absolutely beautiful in every sense of the art but if someone points out the humor in something you like to do, that's not the same as a criticism, so relax. Your hobo/millionaire implications there... to me, that was pretty rude, and I was never making fun of you. I've never made fun of anyone on this board. Yes, I joked about the pose you use (calling it a "thrusting pelvic pose") in the way JB0 and many others have before but that wasn't to make fun of you, bro. The intent was that you could laugh about it with me just as you told JB0 "I chuckled." That's all I was going for. I never said you were trying to be funny.. What do you mean? As far as you saying something crass, see my last point above.. Again, calling what I said as "smart/passive-aggressive" is an overreaction to a joke that was intended to get a laugh from you. I don't even know what you mean with your last sentence. I said nothing whatsoever along those lines. Literally the last thing I said was "Your pics are good, and I have never suggested otherwise."
  6. Seriously? There is absolutely no reason for you to overreact like that. My comments were not without levity, thus not meant to be taken seriously or as derogatory. Your pics are good, and I have never suggested otherwise.
  7. Is there some reason I should know? (okay, I googled it... yuck) I'm certain there are more heroic stances for you to choose from but whatever, it's your camera lol.
  8. Ok, cool. That's what I thought. Thanks!
  9. lol I just appreciate it's a rare pic from you that isn't heavy on the thrusting pelvic pose
  10. I definitely want this... if I may ask, how far under MSRP did you find it?

*shuts eyes tightly* *raises hands to the sky* "Summoning pre-order announcement power: TOMAHAWK!" c'mon Bandai..
  12. I certainly wouldn't call this thing a "luxury" item. It doesn't even make espresso.
  13. Ok, need a little clarity as I don't have the manual(s) near me to figure this out and I've never used them before... but these were in my 1/60 parts bin and I assume they're related to the Yamato stand and are thus needed for the YetiStands. What are these two parts called? I want to make sure I get the right adapters.
  14. I liked IM3 because it wasn't Iron Man vs Evil Iron Man. That, and, Ben Kingsley. The humor between Tony and the kid was also pretty good too.
  15. Couldn't agree more. I would also offer the alternative of getting rid of the pursuit plot altogether and turning this into a battle for Helms Deep act. Screw the fuel, hyperspace directly to the planet and land and get inside behind the door and wait for the siege--to be relieved by forces heeding the distress call, maybe led by Luke and Rey? And yes, for the love of canon... those stupid bombers should have been firing proton torpedos like every other Alliance bomber in the history of SW. I guess their inspiration for these came from those TIE bombers that were "dropping" bombs on the asteroids in EST? Still, dumb. Agree with this too, although I had a slightly different take in mind if they wanted to keep Rose around--being a technical character, she easily could have been written in as the "codebreaker" they needed. Or, you know, maybe use the bloody comlink they demonstrated in the movie (Poe talking to Finn) and call Rey back who has already demonstrated an aptitude for breaking into First Order facilities and going around unnoticed... YEP!! Would have been a great way to kill off 3PO, lol. Agree here too. This movie desperately needed to set the stage for at least the characters to have some momentum into the next story and give the audience at least a glimmer of what could come next. Right now, no one knows which creates little desire to hope for much.
  16. I really hope once this ships they will let us know if they made a decision on a TV version, cause I canceled my PF PO on the hope that it becomes a reality, lol.
  17. Yep, MW5: Mercenaries is officially a thing now. Gonna be 4 player co-op! I'm really looking forward to this.. been a MW fan since the very original.
  18. Yeah, and after having not seen the First Avenger in a really long time, seeing it again made me appreciate it a lot more now after all the other subsequent films. Plus, Cap is my favorite so that helps. Only thing I skipped so far was that Ed Norton Hulk movie.
  19. Interesting, didn't know Samsung had yet a different VR kit. What do you plan to play with it? I've got a few things on the horizon that I plan to get VR for but those games aren't complete or out yet (Mechwarrior 5, Star Citizen). I actually would probably love the Star Trek Bridge Crew game, but that would really mean my friends would need their own VR kits as well.
  20. Yes, the docu was excellent. I may not agree with a lot of what Johnson decided to do, but it does help me respect and appreciate the work he did. There's absolutely no doubt how big of a SW fan he is. Overall, I appreciate what TLJ has done for Star Wars. It NEEDED a slap in the face if it's going to properly move forward and stop re-treading nostalgia and repeating the same Skywalker theme over and over. But... that movie needed an ending that didn't leave both the audience AND the characters having no on-screen idea of what to do next. That's the decision that bugs me the most. Well, that, and their ridiculous bombers that had to DROP bombs. In space. Can someone at Disney please explain to me what happened to the perfectly fine concept of PROTON TORPEDOS??? Gahhhh *nerd rage*
  21. Agreed on the arm issues. If the elbow joint had a locking mechanism, it would improve it by 100%. Idk how to fix those plasma caster arms though. Maybe wrap a clear rubber band around them? lol
