Got the KC Dana Sterling in from BBTS and I think it’s pretty great.  The cloth over figure plus armor is very similar to the Sentinel ride armors build and basically correctly scaled.  Which is nice if you want to do a mashup display.  They should go back and restart the Macross characters in their flight suits (rather than their sailor uniforms)  in this new style.

I suspect the production numbers for Gate is quite low; it is surprisingly sold out just about everywhere, whereas the original 3 always had some stock sitting somewhere or other for some time after release / reissue.

I can get some of the Ride Armour figures through Sugo Toys and will need to get the Gate figure through Mandarake.
