  3. Once again another great meet-up to be part of the Macross 30th anniversary celebrations. Good food and drinks and great location . Thanks again Tober for flying up for the day it was good to meet you in person. Thank you to Matt for being a great host for the day. Look forward to next years meeting.
  4. Great to see you coming along to the con Tober. I can pick you and ruskiiVFaussie on Saturday at the bottom of the Mall. We have a perfect place for the con to be held and good food and drinks await.
  5. Important update: We are moving the meet time to Saturday the 15th of September at 12.00 pm at The Sono Japanese Restaurant located on the corner of Queens Street Mall and Edward Street.
  6. Update: The Sono Japanese Restaurant has been booked for Friday the 14th of September at 6.30 pm and is located on the corner of Queens Street Mall and Edward Street.
  7. Sorry that you can't make Kurisama. Maybe ruskiiVFaussie and myself can meet up with you earlier next week after 5 pm. Still on offer is the Sono Japanese Restaurant: http://www.sonorestaurant.com.au/ as a place to hold this years con. Anyone wishing to attend needs to confirm that they wish to come along so the restaurant can be booked for Friday the 14th after 6 pm. Contact ruskiiVFaussie via his email, phone or post here.
  8. I still can't get past the cheesy gold utility belt and the useless but flamboyant cape to go on the Iron Man style armor. Bruce must need to bring his bling ALWAYS. I am biased in saying that I like the Medicom/Hot Toys version of Batman figures.
  9. Below are some of the possible meeting points for this years con. I have been to the Sono Japanese Restaurant a few times and there food is always good. Depending on how many come along a private room can be booked for the con. Sono Japanese Restaurant: http://www.sonorestaurant.com.au/ Harajuku Gyoza: http://www.harajukugyoza.com/ Little Tokyo Brisbane: http://www.littletokyobrisbane.net.au/
  10. It will be a good weekend. Look forward to catching up with everyone.
  11. For those that missed out on one, here's your chance: http://ekizo.mandara...m_s-939729.html Nevermind it sold out already.
  12. Kicker773's collection is big enough to become it's own theme park. Expansive, extensive and excellent. I know space is the only thing that holds me back from collecting the things I like.

    Macross figures

I have to admit that I like the Sheryl Nurse version. Looking at the photo does this mean that the figure will be 45cm tall with a price tag of 28,000 yen or does the Ranka Nurse figure come as a 2 figure set?? I am another person that collects Japanese figures which includes super deformed figures. While travelling around Japan over the years they just seem to be the norm of what people collect over there. I have plenty of mecha collectibles and I like to offset them with figures. Some of my earlier figures where the IMAI models and then I bought the ARII Macross 15th Anniversary figures when they first came out. I have been buying these type of figures ever since.
