  1. Nice catch a 11B! i don't know exactly at what point of the progress Jasonc is, probably he is working on large batches, including yours.

Thank you! Been a many year long hunt that finally ended.

Sharon Intel, all of the parts are being done at the same time. I try to update the progress overall, as it will apply to everyone who has painted versions ordered. I'm wrapping up working on the main bodies, and they are starting to be cleaned and have the inside intake painted in a matte white. After they dry, they are being masked off and getting ready for the body primer, and then painting (barring no dents, air pockets, or anything that needs fixing). I'm hoping to get pics up tomorrow. I'm also on hold with paint, since the paint was backordered and is now supposedly on it's way. I'm expecting it in 4-6 days, but I'm still cleaning up parts, prepping them for paint.

I can only imagine the response you ppl got, thanks for the updates and pic posting Jasonc. I'm too glad to be a little drop in this flood ;)

  2. I hadn't thought about it but I probably should...

Consider this my PM to all the cool treasure you have ;-)

LOL teddy bear toss! I still remember when the Manchester Monarchs did their toss a couple years back. Someone had a 15 foot tall stuffed Snoopy that required nearly 30 people working in unison to heave over the glass.

The Asia league has its own goofiness like that namely the now defunct Kokudo Bunnies who's team logo looked like hitler bunny after snorting a line of coke.

Anyways say hello to Nana Fujimoto. Starting goalie for the NWHL's New York Riveters and Japan's first professional women's hockey player!

she fits..........IN THE GEAR BAG!?!?!? Ok, deff going to your panel, no more spoilers pls, hitler coke bunny was a great ice breaker.

  3. I'm back again this year too. I'm running my panel on Kancolle again in addition to one on Girls Und Panzer too. Because this year's them is field day and sports events my panel on ice hockey in Japan also got accepted.

The hockey panel was the first I ever hosted and I'm thankful for the chance to revist and expand on it given the extra time I now have to play with. Originally I had only 30min to do it in, but this year I have an hour. :)

Sweet! Hockey! At risk of sounding like a complete weeb, I don't watch much, if any, sports but Japanese baseball is very entertaining. Can only imagine what JP hockey is like. Maybe a sample

? Count me in for your panel for sure.
  4. Hey there MW,

It's AB '16 time again. Me and the Mrs will be there all weekend. Looking forward to it and hopefully meeting up with you guys again. Last years panels by VF5SS were really well done and appreciated. Putting aside the dub/sub argument, Tony Oliver (the dub voice of Rick Hunter) will be there. I'm happy to meet someone that had a hand in bringing Macross to my childhood.

    Hope to see you there!

  5. Wait, a re-release? You mean Bandai are going to issue this again or are you referring to something else?

Sry, not a re-release, the bandai site shows out of stock. Looking into it the preorders started in Oct and all I saw was "sold out" then suddenly it shows as available for preorder again. Guess they're pumping out more to add to the war, too many valks blowing up regults.

edit: just stopped by amiami & the preorder is closed

  6. Well, my compulsion and excitement mixed with a bit of exhaustion got the better of me.... The HI-METAL REGULT is getting a re-release and amiami has it for $10 USD less than solaris & they already charged my paypal, not going to cancel, still happy to get one. Here is the link for amiami. Happy shopping! (should have tagged the HI-METAL to my google news homepage)

  7. wow that is a very sane price indeed! Why it hasn't been snapped up already is quite strange!?

Whoa... There's nothing sane about that price, $150 would maybe cover the 1/72 but nowhere near average 1/60 price. PM sent anyways and thank you for the heads up claude grant! Here's to hope.

Hey Sharon Intel, you'd better check the 'For Sale or Trade' section quickly. Your vf-11b is waiting for you @ a "sane price"!

Thank you for the heads up! Please though, next time a VF-11 goes for that price feel free to call/text/email/knock on my door. I'll provide all that info for a deal like that, and my first born.
  8. Hi Everyone,

Firstly, I have never sold, purchased or traded anything from MW before so please feel free to ask me any and all questions.

Long story short, my better half saw me looking at the Macross 25th Anniversary Yamato 1/48 Scale and purchased it as a gift unbeknownst that I had purchased it for myself as well.

Now I'd prefer to get it into one of your collections.

Looking at Ebay completed listings I'm asking for $160 shipped and insured.

Conversly I'd like to offer it up for trade.

    Looking for options:

1)A discount off your price of (long shot dream valk) Yamato 1/60 VF-11B

2)Both of the Yamato 1/72 YF-19 & YF-21, boxed, a straight trade given average price total is about $160

3)Whatever else you'd offer, I'm partial to Macross Plus and Zero

I'm happy to consider all offers.

PM me if interested & thanks!
