  1. I'm having trouble with my VF-31J kai. In battroid mode the backpack with the gun and pod  won't stay up. it keeps falling back. The problem seems to be where I marked on the pic. There doesn't seem to be anywhere I can tighten up. Anyone know a way it stop if from flopping back?

I wonder if Arcadia is struggling.

This is the 6th time the SDF-1 is being released since 2010 and the VF-1 since 2008. This almost feels like a Toynami move. Nothing new just more reissues. Would be nice if they added  in scale figures that stood up. 😜

    Seriuosly, we need something new.

I wouldn't mind reissues if it wasn't the same reissues all the time. Mix it up and reissue some other releases like vf-11, vf-17, vf-1d and other vf1 paint schemes.

Just being honest here, I don't want Bandai's fingers anywhere near any new VF-17-based release.  I don't want any more valks exploding from their idiotic design logic, and I would not be even slightly surprised if any new VF-17 from them would have all of the same problems as the 171.

Didn't the same designer work on both the VF-17 and Vf-171?

Sill prefer the yammie color scheme. Its strange that to this date, arcadia does not want to reissue the VF-19A/S and VF-17D/S and also with the current advancement of technologies, tampo print all their valks instead of putting them under PF line with some fancy shading, weathering and panel lining

They were shelf warmers so i doubt they'll reissue them. Which is too bad. I was never able to snag a VF-17D.

I never transformed a 21/22 from Battroid back to Fighter yet, so that is cool to know that the seat auto-rotates back. :good:

It got me thinking more on what other little nice-to-have stuff like this that makes Yamcadia valks that much better:

v2 VF-1: The removable nose with adaptor to support it being carried on another VF's arm.
    VF-11: The cockpit escape module.
    VF-0S/A: Rotating seat
VF-19: Rotating seat plus egress hatch in battroid
YF-19: The anti-glare area in front of cockpit that pivots down to support the front hinged cockpit opening.
SV-51: Perhaps the telescopic head gimmick?

Can't think of any for the VF-4 though, but that's not to say the toy is anything less compared to others.

So hopefully, Arcadia does something similar for the upcoming VF-5000. ^_^

I hate the VF-11 cockpit escape module. Too fidgety. No good way to lock it into place. Wish they hadn't done that.

TY!  I didn't realize there were so many options.  My better half is the media expert so I'll ask her to help piece all of this together.  [She managed a Blockbuster in college and ended up with something like 2000 titles when they finally shuttered the store.  It took a year of on/off effort, but she finally ripped everything (Handbrake?), added subtitles and artwork found online, and put all of it on a media server to stream throughout the house.  I think that's the first and last time she did anything remotely related to her engineering degree.]

That seems like a lot of work.
