  1. Zero-Gs Part I: The Armor Eternal is out. If you like Mospeada, you'll love this. The influence of that series is not a subtle one. HUGE thanks to Lucas Marangon for helping me birth the Brawler and Caliber exo-armors. There is a unique, 20-page illustrated insert within the 416 page novel that shows off our combined work. Get it here: (or on Amazon) www.darringeisinger.com
  2. I have a set of 3 Dangaioh cels up for auction - cheap! Hope its OK I post this here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Dangaioh-OPENING-Anime-Cel-3-Cel-SET-1-SB-NO-RESERVE-/181964007420?hash=item2a5de667fc:g:1EQAAOSwAKxWU6ks
  3. I have a pretty cool Patlabor cel and douga up for auction - hope its OK I post this here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/181964010341?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 It's from the Early Days OVA vs the dreaded Pickel Kun . . .
  4. OK - cool. Those are going out to you soon. I should have posted them on MW first, but I forgot I had them . . .
  5. I hope its OK that I post the cels I have up for auction right now - I have them listed for less than half of what I paid. Have a few from Patlabor, Votoms, Dangaioh and Galient --- http://www.ebay.com/sch/darrin6649/m.html?item=181947539841&ssPageName=STRK%3AMESELX%3AIT&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2562 If anyone is curious as to why I'm selling, I really didn't want to, I still love the hobby. But I'm moving and switching from following sci-fi and anime over to hunting, fishing and camping. Not having grown up hunting and fishing, I need to switch my focus fully for obvious reasons. I know, kind of weird . . . : }
  6. When might this baby be released? Any indication so far?
  7. Wow - superb! Love the hips - it's one of those features that allows you to make heroic poses . . .
  8. YahooJ has a BigCloverMachine up for auction - with bids! I think the new X-Plus Vinyl version has a 'slightly' better sculpt! : O Must be pure nostalgia. https://www.rinkya.com/en/auction-k199918867
  9. I collected all the TV version valks but passed on that one due to its crappy 'too light' color. NOW THIS - this I would buy . . .
  10. My son loves Sherlock Holmes - and he loves a lot of Miyazaki's stuff. Neither of us has ever seen that anime though. Might get him the hound and the DVD set for his birthday . . .
  11. Oh - but my eyes tell me in .0003 seconds that Gundam is NOT from the 80s. However is would probably go well in the Armarauders world . . .
  12. Feel like we'll see Layzner's plot line of a half alien, half-human -- being our 'savior' again someday (in real life). But that would take us off in the deep weeds. Where is the SPEC Zakaal? Wonder if the MkII and V-Max editions did not sell well enough to justify it . . .
  13. That Tread is a one-of-a-kind custom creation I believe -- and a sweet one. #16 above is Iczer ROBO -- a WF resin kit I cannot locate. But to stay on topic with the thread, I greatly admire the effort that went into creating that comic world and that awesome toy. Superb offering. If it was say -- $79.99 -- I would grab it. But it's not likely ever to reach that stage . . .
  14. Whoa - that is BAD. So is the Battroid IMO. But I would like a FB version for the fighter...
  15. Yep. If they do that one - I might be in...
  16. I had the SPEC L-Gaim - and it was a very nice piece. Outstanding packaging, and all the plastic and die-cast were great. Made the whole thing feel high-end. With the SPECs, its not just the metal, its the PLASTICS THEY CHOSE. Much nicer than RS. I got out of L-Gaim so I sold him and the RS I had in the line. What baffles me now with the Dragonar RSs coming out, the RS Falguan for example is going for MORE than NEW SPECS! My goodness people confused. The SPEC Falguen is perfect - total, full die-cast endo-skeleton with all high quality materials. Funny. Folks are doing just what Bandai hoped; Buy the MUCH cheaper to make RS and doubling their profits. As I said - If the Dunbine and Drumlo had SPEC versions I would be all over them . . .
  17. This is everything I want; High quality, superb packaging, fantastic art and extras, lots of bits and a diorama or two. Except - I don't like the design. It is not from the 80s, too modern I guess, and its not designed in Japan. Looks very American -Robocop-ish. Which it WAS designed in America, and not in the 80s, so this all makes sense. If I was rich I would get it for one of my kids just so I could un-box it and click through the joints...
  18. Sold my Zwarth because he could not stand up - and his joints were overall too loose. Sold my Billbine too. Really like high-end collectables, and while the RS have nice sculpts, their size and quality are sub-par IMO. So I'm sticking with just the Dunbine, FOW and standard Drumlo in the RS line. And I wish those were SPEC versions - with Die-cast. The Bandai SPEC Dragonar and Layzner figs are small but outstanding, wish Dunbine had been done that way...
  19. So the huge vinyl Dunbine is out for pre-order. Bit pricey to me. (maybe the destroid monster is not far behind) One thing that's a bit confusing, you have to remove the head to see the pilot? Why not just have the cockpit doors open on hinges? http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/product.aspx?product=XPL10173&mode=retail
