  1. No way... the megaroad in 2012 looked way different then that... unless this picture (wherever it's from) was just a concept sketch... but even then I'd be so suprised that it changed that much.... hmmm.
  2. "Only Your Friend" is the english title. http://www.animelyrics.com/anime/macross2/friend.htm Sung by: Satou Tomoyo Lyrics: Tania Hiroko Composition: Mase Kenji Arrangement: Washisu Shirou Romanization/Translation: Jlyrics Translation Team
  3. Since my thread in the fanworks section seems to have gone un-noticed I thought I'd try the direct approach... is there a Karaoke version of "Ima Wa Tomodachi?" I need it for a project... what CD would it be on.
  4. This isn't really a fan project... per se... Tere is a girl... and our relationship is kind of complicated... but I wanted to make a CD, with myself singing the English translated lyrics of "Ima Wa Tomodachi" or "Only Your Friend" From Macross II, for her. I've found the Manga lyrics cleaned them up and timed them against the song... and I'm sure if I can find a Karaoke version of it I could probably do it... but I need to know if one exists... I'm planning on giving it to her as a Christmas gift... so I don't need it right away... but the two things I need to know are: 1) if a Karaoke version exists and on what CD I could find it. Oh to time this verse... It really dosn't flow like the rest of the song... Original Japanese Lyrics: sotto shimatte'ta takaramono mitai na kono kimochi azuketai anata ni Manga Translated version: So when you're lonely, unwrap this I'll give you my little secret treasure kept inside me. Could you care to hold & embrace this gift from me? This is the only verse I can not get to work... If someone can tell me how to time it... or write a better version of the verse that times properly... I would appritiate it. Ahhhh I hope she likes it come Christmas time!!!
  5. What? Zillion is 28 episode series? Wasn't there a 5 episode series of the same name that Streamline pictures released? I have the first 3 tapes of the Streamline series and it is pretty cool, I like some of the music. Or is this the same series and Streamline dubbed only part of it? If so I would really like to see it.
  6. Nice, I didn't even realize Unicron was out yet... I'll go pick him up on my next paycheck... two of him maybe, and I'll customize the one.... Good work, on your job.
  7. Marvel is more bold then usual in this series in other ways as well. They mention Gameboy Advance, Super Mario, George W. Bush by name, and Mystique actually takes the form of Castro in the comic. It dosn't go for the altered names and logos that we usually see in both comics and anime... and that makes it more realistic. Marvel has often made nod's to other shows, by including them as toys or posters or whatever... But this is the first time I've ever seen this... However I find it highly amusing and I laughed the first time I saw it. The actual comic is quite good though, here is a run-down on the first 5 issues: **SPOILERS for Mystique 1-5** 1) Essentially it opens up with Mystique trying to capture this high tech gizmo that can track her anywhere on the planet no matter what form she takes. Meanwhile a secret agent in the employ of Proffesor X is taken out by a mutant arm's dealer named Steinbeck. Mystique ends up a prisoner of the U.S. and sentenced to immidiate execution, just as Proffesor X, decides to use her as a replacement operative. 2-3)Proffesor X disquises himself as Mageneto and frees Mystique from her imprisonment. He informs her that Steinbeck as sold two soviet era Sentinel's to Castro... and that while Castro only intends to use them as a deterent in case a mutant gets out of hand, there are others in the military who plan to use them for a pree-emptive strike on the mutant population. Mystique is find and destroy the Sentinels making it look like the work of a Human Cuban. The pay-off for Mystique is, that Forge has created a device that will jam the Mystique tracker... as long as Mystique behaves the device will remain on. Mystique goes to Cuba and the mission starts. 4-5)Mystique arrives in Cuba, and manages to infiltrate the army... however a bunch of humans calling themselves "Humans for Gentic Equality" make their own move, and interfere with Mystique's mission... Mystique tries to find the remot control for the Sentinel's and jam it, she finds out however that a young mutant girl with the power to control machines is being used in-place of the computer... and the girl tell's Mystique that the only way to stop the machines is to shoot her... And then we are left wondering what will happen next...
  8. Issue four of Marvel Comic's new title Mystique, a comic centered around a shap-shifting ex-terrorist who is unwillingly forced to work as a covert agent for telepath Professor Xavier, unveils a new design for the mutant hunting robots called Sentinels. Fans of Gainix Studio's Shin Seiki Evangelion might recognize the design as being heavily influenced by Asuka Soryu Langly's Evangelion Unit 02.
