  1. The only regret you are gonna have is you wish you bought more from the begining.
  2. Yamato/Arcadia V2 1/60 is the best to date.

This thing is so well built that I don't know how to take it apart except the die cast foot plates.

The HMR vf-1 is totally different from the yamato in term of build and quality, the HMR feels more like a toy in the hand. The yamato has a much snug fit gap and IMO a better plastic material which looks more like a Bandai PG or MG model kit.. You have to have both toys in the hands to see the difference by yourself. Bandai's Glaug and Regult look very close to yamato arcadia in term of build and materials.
  5. There's no way to keep the paint intact since it's a hinge, and to match the color from dye is a step harder. Go with gunmetal or something similar if you have to print them from shapeway.
  6. Seriously I'd love to take the box off your hands if you decide to toss them away.

Good to see the monster 3 decades later after the takatoku.

No pilots included for the price tag?
  9. I won't make that kinda decisive statement if I were you when it comes to yamakardia.
  10. Try to buff it off with toothpaste or rubbing compound.
  11. I think the OP wants to build a brand new destroid freshly rolled out from the assembly line with the new vehicle smell in the cockpit.
  12. I think that's what he meant to retrace it by putting that as a template to recreate your own by tracing the outline.

It's more like a heat shield, I'm sure I've seen many scratches in many early color art illustration by Yoshiyuki Takani.

Yeah, I always thought they have some sort of collaboration back then. The name of both companies are printed on the box, but you get the point. Hopefully Bandai or some other 3rd party companies like CM will be making a set of figurines for those bad guys down the road.

Bandai should release a package of Zentrans and Meltrans figurines in scale like the Yamato did at some points down the line.

The monster is still there at Amiami.
  21. Glad to know that those joints are going to be in plastic, not cloth or silicone rubber.

They went the other way around with the Yamato's route.
