  1. Makes sense.
  2. I'm surprised with the lack of details at this scale.
  3. I think it was Takatoku first came up with the swing bar in 1984 for 1/55 and 1/100, then Yamato fine tuned it in 2003, and Bandai makes it better with detachable capability. It'd be perfect if Bandai adopts that, but we don't want the DX turned into a messy flop.
  4. It's not perfect transformation then without the swing bar because the legs are mysteriously detached and reappear at the hip.
  5. That proves what we speculated earlier that the Super, Strike parts and the hands will come in separate releases.
  6. So this how Bandai plays the game.
  7. You are kidding, right? How dare you condemn Yoshiyuki Takani. Someone in Japan just made a model kit to pay tribute to Takani’s work. me
  8. For some reasons, the modern toys and model kits are dropping the VF marking below the landing gears as seen in Takani's artwork.

1999 sold out before I can figure out the checking out process.
  12. I’m sorry if these have been brought up before, but it seems like they are invading everything Yamacardia did.
  13. It's not that they have to pay royalty to BW.....
  14. The Yamato was 80 back then. Things change.
  15. These KOs are getting better and better, and I wonder if it's the same tooling in China's factory that Arcadia hires to make their version.
  16. They would have otherwise listed them in 2 note cards, strike and super with ornaments, instead of spending the time to put them into 4 different cards.
  17. The surface detail is blunt, and the Yamato's looks a lot better. I don't even think they have any gimmick underneath like the Yamato's, but I hope I'm wrong.
  18. Bandai is milking the option parts, so now we have to pay separately for these 4 optional parts without counting in the gbp-1s armors.

He wanted to do that, but I guess it's a no. https://twitter.com/Mrk_arcadia/status/1052489097191743488
  20. Even the V2 VF-1 is a major upgrade to the old 1/48, so I don't understand why people will deny it unless you are looking things in terms of size only. The tooling, fitment, proportion in scale, surface details, materials, paint job, additional joints are the reason it's a successor. I'm sure Bandai will do better, yet, from the pictures we have seen up to date.
  21. Nobody is complaining about the scale of the pilot yet?
  22. The shoulder joints are totally different from amacardia. The head telescopes in the fuselage pretty well, which reminds me scene when Hikaru was saving Hayes.
  23. Did anyone see this?
  24. I really should have un-followed this thread, and wait maybe I should not visit MW at all.
