  1. For the VF-1, make the color gray (or maybe off-white, like in the Yamato days). At least don't make them pinkish. Lower the price. Diecast shoulders and hip joints in the VF-1 would be nice.
  2. Arcadia: 1/60 VF 1S Roy Focker Special Movie Ver

Same here, the foot thruster fell off my Arcadia Roy VF-1S when transforming it last week. No problem, it slid right back into place (i'll glue it back at some point.) In Arcadia's defense, I was probably trying to open the foot one too many clicks, so I'm just glad it didn't break.
  3. DX Chogokin VF-171 Cannon Fodder

Try the Tamiya thin liquid cement (it's about $5 at hobby stores), it fuses the plastic together nicely (it's ether PVC or ABS, not sure which). It melts the plastic a little at first, you'll need small tools like a tweezers or small needle nosed pliers to place the parts directly after applying the glue, otherwise you can smudge the plastic permanently if you get a finder print on it. I'm not sure Shapeways will work on this, the parts are very small.
  4. DX Chogokin VF-171 Cannon Fodder

Earlier in the thread someone said that they contacted the guy and he said negotiations broke down and he wasn't selling the parts. As a side note, I repaired my NUNS triangle with Tamiya extra thin cement. So far so good, although I only had a crack and a small piece broken from it...
  5. DX Chogokin VF-171 Cannon Fodder

Thanks, I think I see it now. I've been afraid to transform it until I loosened the screw first. Now if I can only do step 2 without breaking the leg off!
  6. DX Chogokin VF-171 Cannon Fodder

I need to check the right shoulder piece on mine, it looks like it has a stress mark and a small crack forming above the U. I'd like to also loosen both screws on the left and right shoulders as a preventative measure. I'm not seeing how to remove the shoulder piece (is that the one with the big "171" on it?). I don't see a green shoulder piece. How are you guys taking the shoulder apart?
  7. Whats your 1 wish for Arcadia

  8. VF-0 Replacement Parts

A bundled left shoulder and elbow would be perfect for me, but I would buy them separate as well. Thanks!
  9. VF-0 Replacement Parts

Thanks for doing this, my VF-0A is one of my favorites and I've kept it even with a broken arm. My VF-0A's left shoulder/bicep is broken. Will these parts be for both the right and left arms?
  10. Post pics of VF-1 broken shoulders here!

    Got mine yesterday. Thanks Graham!!
  11. Post pics of VF-1 broken shoulders here!

Payment and address sent. Thanks Graham!
  12. Do you still need replacement shoulder hinges for your V.2 VF-1?

Is it too late to place an order from the alternate source? Would there be any extras?
  13. Yamato 1:60 Max and Miria vf 22 repaints!!!!!!

I noticed this on mine. But it looks like the back section has a smoother finish, and the rest of the plastic has a little more of a matte finish. I think this gives the illusion of a shading difference.
  14. Do you still need replacement shoulder hinges for your V.2 VF-1?

Incredible timing on this poll. My VF-1S Roy's shoulders have been cracked for over a year, but still held up after many transformations. Yesterday I was just moving the right arm a little and the shoulder finally tore off.
  15. Yamato 1/60 v.2 2 seaters

Yamato has a page, with a video, showing how to detach the hip bar in battroid mode. It's very easy once you get the hang of it. http://www.yamato-toys.com/dev/cont_057/index.html
