  1. #Notme Well, it really depends if Bandai will release individual Ba's tampo printed with corresponding pilot markings or release just one Ba with sticker sheet and leave the customer customize it. Now you being a collector, would you rather have a full squadron of stickers applied DX Valks knowing that your DX Delta squadron set have all tampo markings? Oh, and I'm pretty sure not all of them is going to be screen accurate -- looking at Siegfried's Grim Reaper and Knight emblem.
  2. ^ This. TBH, for me I really don't need to watch nor need to like a certain series to get a toy. Sometimes I just like a toy for what it has -- a cool design. Now, the only thing that really stops me from getting most what I want is the budget and space. I'm used to be a completionist before but somehow I managed to control that. Now I'm more into I want to have atleast a pair meaning if I bought a certain figure, it really needs something to balance it now. I'm not a big fan of one figure centerpiece. I always need something to balance the other one. Think of it like 'Ying/Yang' concept. Or the never ending battle of 'the good and the bad'. I'm sure you guys know what I mean. And just so you know, there's a lot of other things out there. It's not just Macross. It just so happen that franchise is not as big nor as famous as the other franchises for it to have a lot of figures and merchandises left and right. I'm pretty sure once this 35th Anniversary hype finished it will be slow for sure. But if you're really focusing only to Macross, then I guess you can start collecting other Macross stuff and not limit yourself to only the figures and planes. There's books, guides, DVDs, Blurays, Music CDs, Cards, Stationaries, etc. And even the Animation Cels. But if you're just for the figures and planes, only thing we can do is just wish and wait, wish and wait, and wish and wait. Anyways, just sharing my 2 cents and 10mins of my time composing this.

I'm impressed with their update. Might get one once it gets released. Thunder Hammer color is cool.
  4. Ok. So it's March so we're expecting Stick's ride end of this month, yes? It's just weeks away before the end of the month so hopefully we'll see something new. And by new, I meant cool info and photos and not another delay notice.
  5. Out of curiosity, does Iron Spider figure comes with iron legs?
  6. Well, I guess, you can probably try and resend it to them and do a cycle until your copy will not break. That's why it's good to have that 10-day window to open and inspect anything that's coming in from HLJ. And yeah, they do really have good support so I really don't mind the extra I pay for their item compared to other stores. I mean, I'm already spending lots of money on these collectibles so I have to make sure it's really worth it down the line.
  7. So, are you going to send the defective item back to them?
  8. No offense meant @Blue Meanie. I appreciate your post and can relate on all the materials and hardwares and specs that you mentioned since I'm in the graphic production design line of work. I just like this specific part of your post.
  9. Actually, you did.
  10. Meh. It felt like the 'Mirage' scheme were forced to apply on a Draken.

    Bandai DX VF-31

They should've include a small Mikumo figure that can be mounted on the VF-31S for this 'iconic' scene. And one more VF-31 variant to go. Can't wait for Saburo to reshoot this 'Sway, Slide and Pose' scene. C'mon Bandai -- Pronto!
  12. Excuse me. It's not SDFM. It's Robotech. By now, we should be thankful for HG for permitting KC to create these 'cool looking' figures. Oh, the irony.
  13. This is how I approach this 'Premium Finish' SDF-1 release. I didn't get a chance of getting it when Yamato released it since I'm already late joining the Yamato bandwagon. And couldn't afford later the price it's going for aftermarket used which is around $650-800. Remember this is the regular Yamato release. Not the kit nor the 1/2000 version. And now Arcadia decided to re-release it and offer a PF version. So I'm thinking it's like saving some money before until I can afford to buy a Yamato one when someone decided to sell it again but instead I'm paying now the same amount (probably less) for a Premium Finish one. And one other thing, I'm really not good on painting kits so I rather have Arcadia do it. And seeing how small those parts or details are that was painted in flourescent paint, I rather get it in this format than wait until I get better which is in 10 years time(?) and do a custom one. By then, I'm already too old and have shaky hands.
  14. I just realized that last year's Goodbye Christopher Robin is not made by Disney. Looking forward also on this one.
  15. Cool! Thanks Anubis. Now I can sleep well tonight.
  16. My only concern with this PF release is that hope it will not scratch any layers of topcoats while transforming it. Don't want to chip the coat and the paint.

I would also like to have one for my 1/60 VF-1. But I'm no good with resin kits. I think more of this like a 'Prototype' GBP Armor.

    Bandai DX VF-31

That looks cool for a 31A Commander Type. As per Tamashii, the Reaction Missiles do comes with Arad's 31S. Highlight in red.
  19. Thanks for the heads up on Thanos. I prefer HLJ but it's already sold out so I just placed my orders for both figures Spidey and Shellhead at NY.
